How to Use

Set audio options: In “Audio Settings”, choose WPM speed, Farnsworth spacing, tone, volume, waveform, keying envelope, sample rate, and bit depth.
Save common settings: Click “Save Settings” to keep the current options and reuse the same audio configuration next time.
Choose an input mode:
- Single text: Best for quick preview, copying Morse code, and downloading one WAV file.
- Batch text: Each line becomes one item, generating separate WAV audio and TXT reference files.
- TXT files: Select multiple TXT files at once and generate audio from each file.
Load examples: Use examples such as SOS, CQ calls, numbers, and punctuation to check tone and rhythm first.
Generate and preview: Go to “Generate & Download” and click “Start” to view Morse text, timeline, waveform preview, and estimated duration.
Download results: In single mode, download the WAV audio and TXT reference. In batch mode, results are packed as a ZIP file, and duplicate names get automatic number suffixes.

FAQ

A: WPM controls the speed of the dots and dashes themselves. Farnsworth increases spacing between characters and words to make listening practice easier. When they are equal, standard spacing is used.

A: It supports A-Z letters, 0-9 numbers, and common punctuation such as comma, period, question mark, slash, parentheses, and @. Chinese text can be converted to pinyin or English before generating audio.

A: Very fast dot/dash switching can create transient clicks. Set the keying envelope to 3-8 ms to add fade-in and fade-out to each element for a smoother sound.

A: You can keep original file names, use sequence numbers, or name files by the first 16 characters of the text. If names repeat, a numeric suffix is added automatically, so results are not overwritten.

A: CW practice commonly uses a 500-800 Hz sidetone. Lower tones are comfortable for long sessions, while higher tones can sound clearer. Adjust based on your headphones, speakers, and hearing preference.

A: For everyday use, 44100 Hz and 16-bit offer good compatibility. For smaller files, choose 8000 Hz or 22050 Hz. For post-production editing, choose a higher bit depth.
