Software Usage Instructions

Select audio files: Click the upload area or drag in audio files. Batch selection of common formats such as MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, M4A, OGG, OPUS, and AIFF is supported.
Confirm the file list: The interface only displays the first 20 files; the remaining files will be indicated by quantity and will be processed together when processing starts.
Set trim start and end parameters: Enter the start duration and end duration to remove. Decimal seconds are supported; you can also enable edge silence detection to automatically identify silence at the beginning and end based on the volume threshold.
Adjust silence detection: You can set the silence threshold, edge silence length, and retained buffer to avoid over-trimming or cutting off the attack.
Configure output options: Choose to keep the original format or output as MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, or FLAC, and set audio quality, sample rate, channels, fade in/out, loudness normalization, and metadata preservation.
Save frequently used settings: Click “Save Settings” to keep the current parameters, which will be automatically restored the next time you open it; you can restore defaults when you need to reconfigure.
Start processing and download: Go to the “Process Download” page and click start processing. After completion, you can preview some results and click “Download ZIP” to get all audio files.

FAQ

A: Fixed trimming removes the beginning and end based on the number of seconds entered; silence detection analyzes low-volume segments at the edges of the audio, then calculates trim positions based on the threshold and buffer parameters.

A: The retained buffer leaves a small amount of time before and after the detected sound start point, making the beginning and end of the audio more natural and reducing overly abrupt cuts.

A: When keeping the original format, the original file names will be preserved as much as possible. If outputting to another format, the main file name will be kept and the extension will be replaced; if duplicate names occur, numbers will be automatically appended to distinguish them.

A: You can keep the original format or output MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, OGG/Vorbis, and FLAC. MP3 is commonly used for speech content, while WAV or FLAC are suitable for post-production editing.

A: Batch processing uses memory and CPU. We recommend processing large files in batches and keeping the page open during processing. If loudness normalization or format conversion is enabled, processing time will increase.

A: Common reasons include file corruption, unusual encoding, trim duration exceeding the total duration, insufficient device memory, or incompatible formats. Try reducing the number of files in the batch first, or switch to MP3/WAV output and try again.
