Tool Usage
Return to old versionCalculate from measured electric field, or estimate far-field power density from transmit power, antenna gain, and distance. Parameters, examples, and history stay local.
Set evaluation scenario
First choose the input method, exposure category, and tissue parameters. Frequency affects MPE power density limits; tissue parameters affect SAR.
Enter Calculation Parameters
Electric field mode is for existing field meter data; transmit mode is for far-field estimates. You can also paste CSV for batch calculation.
Results & Export
After calculating, view SAR, IPD, MPE ratios, and recommendations. History can restore parameters or export a CSV report.

Instructions
Software Usage Instructions
- Set the evaluation scenario: Choose either measured electric field strength or transmit-parameter estimation mode, and select tissue presets such as muscle, brain, skin, or fat.
- Select evaluation standards: You can compare against both FCC and ICNIRP limits at the same time, choose only one standard, or enter a custom SAR limit.
- Enter basic parameters: Fill in parameters such as frequency, conductivity, and mass density; tissue presets automatically populate common parameters, which can still be manually modified.
- Enter exposure data:
- Measured electric field mode: Enter the RMS electric field strength; the magnetic field strength can be left blank.
- Transmit estimation mode: Enter parameters such as transmit power, antenna gain, evaluation distance, duty cycle, and feeder loss.
- Batch calculation: You can paste CSV data to calculate multiple scenarios by row; the interface displays the first 20 entries, while exports include all results.
- Calculate and export: Click “Calculate RF Exposure” to view SAR, IPD, MPE percentage, standard margin, and evaluation notes. You can download a CSV report or copy the summary.
- Save settings: Click “Save Settings” to retain commonly used parameters for future evaluations.
