Software Usage Instructions
- Select a container type: At the top of the page, you can choose a preset container (such as a 20-foot container, Euro pallet, etc.), or click "Custom Size" to manually enter the container's length, width, height, and load limit.
- Add item information:
- Click "Quick Add" to choose from commonly used item templates
- Manually enter the item name, dimensions (L×W×H), weight, and quantity
- Set stacking restrictions (stackable/top layer only/no stacking) and rotation constraints
- Click the color picker to customize the display color of the item in the 3D view
- Configure algorithm parameters:
- Packing algorithm: The MaxRects rectangle packing algorithm is recommended for higher utilization
- Rotation settings: Allowing items to rotate 90 degrees horizontally can improve packing efficiency
- Optimization goal: Choose to prioritize space utilization, reduce the number of containers, or prioritize stability
- Gravity constraints: Enable bottom support detection to ensure the packing plan is physically feasible
- Start calculation: Click the "Start Calculating Packing Plan" button, and the system will automatically optimize the item layout.
- View results: After the calculation is complete, you can view space utilization, the number of loaded/unloaded items, 3D visualization, and detailed packing steps.
- Container comparison: Switch to the "Container Comparison" tab to compare the packing results of different container types and get a recommended plan.
- Export results: Supports downloading text reports, Excel spreadsheets, 3D model files (OBJ format), and detailed packing operation instructions.
