Batch process experiment data
Paste data by row, separated by commas, tabs, or Chinese commas. The UI shows the first 20 rows; stats and export process all data.
Common Material Reference & Reverse Calculation
Reference values vary with surface condition, temperature, lubrication, speed, and test method. For engineering use, verify with measured data.
Click “Apply” in the table to write the midpoint of the reference range to the reverse calculation and sync it to the comparison μ for single calculation.

Software Usage Instructions
- Select a function area: After opening the tool, you can switch between “Single Calculation,” “Batch Calculation,” and “Material Reference.” It is recommended to set the calculation method, units, and precision before starting.
- Perform a single calculation:
- Inclination angle method: Enter the inclination angle, radians, or slope, and calculate the coefficient of friction using μ = tan(θ).
- Force ratio method: Enter the friction force and normal force, and calculate the coefficient of friction using μ = Ff / FN.
- Calculate normal force from mass: Enter mass, gravitational acceleration, and contact surface angle to automatically convert to normal force.
- Set calculation parameters: You can choose the static coefficient of friction, kinetic coefficient of friction, or general coefficient of friction, and set decimal precision, reference normal force, and comparison μ value.
- View calculation results: After clicking “Calculate Coefficient of Friction,” the tool will display the μ value, equivalent inclination angle, reference friction force, calculation details, and result tips.
- Calculate data in batches: Switch to “Batch Calculation,” paste multiple lines of data in the format “Name,Angle” or “Name,Friction Force,Normal Force,” and click “Batch Calculate” to generate statistical results.
- Export and copy: Batch results support copying the table and downloading a CSV file; single calculation results and reverse conversion results can also be copied with one click.
- Use material reference: Search for material combinations in “Material Reference,” and click “Apply” to write the reference coefficient of friction into the reverse conversion and comparison parameters.
