Software Usage Instructions

Set calculation parameters: First choose single space or batch list mode, then select the space shape, input unit, output unit, and decimal places.
Select a space shape: Supports shapes such as rectangular prism, cube, cylinder, hollow cylinder, sphere, hemisphere, cone, frustum, ellipsoid, triangular prism, sloped-top trapezoidal prism, and pyramid.
Enter dimensions: Fill in parameters such as length, width, height, radius, front height, and rear height according to the current shape. Values must be greater than 0.
Batch calculation: You can add spaces one by one, or paste CSV data or select a CSV file to import. The list displays the first 20 entries, while the remaining data will still be included in the summary.
View results: After clicking calculate, you can view the main result, total volume, average volume, multi-unit conversions, and formula details for each entry.
Save and export: You can save frequently used settings. After calculation, you can copy the results and export CSV or JSON files.

Frequently Asked Questions

A: You can split an irregular space into multiple regular shapes. For example, split an L-shaped room into two rectangular prisms, calculate a sloped-roof area as a sloped-top trapezoidal prism, and then use the batch list to summarize.

A: Choose a rectangular prism for a standard rectangular room; choose a cube for a space with equal side lengths; choose a sloped-top trapezoidal prism for attics or sloped-roof rooms, and enter the front height and rear height.

A: Choose a rectangular prism for a rectangular water tank, a cylinder for a round water tank, a frustum for a container with different top and bottom radii, and a hollow cylinder for pipes or hollow structures.

A: 1 cubic meter equals 1000 liters. The tool will automatically display unit conversions such as cubic meters, liters, milliliters, cubic centimeters, cubic feet, and gallons on the results page.

A: We recommend using headers such as “Name, Shape, Unit, Length, Width, Height, Radius.” For shape, you can enter English identifiers such as cuboid, cylinder, or sphere, or use the corresponding Chinese shape names.

A: Yes. After the calculation is complete, you can copy the results or export them as a CSV or JSON file. CSV is suitable for spreadsheet organization, while JSON is suitable for subsequent system processing.
