Software Usage Instructions

Enter project data: Choose single calculation or batch calculation. For a single calculation, enter length, width, and thickness; for batch calculation, paste CSV-format data or import a CSV/TXT file.
Set dimension units: Length, width, and thickness support meters, centimeters, millimeters, feet, and inches. The system will convert them uniformly before calculating area and volume.
Configure concrete parameters: Select the strength grade, and set concrete density, reserve allowance, and order rounding method to calculate theoretical volume, volume with allowance, and recommended order quantity.
Configure rebar parameters: Rebar mesh estimation can be enabled. Set rebar diameter, spacing, number of layers, and lap loss, and the system will estimate total rebar length and weight.
Configure cost parameters: Enter concrete unit price, labor cost, rebar unit price, and other expenses to generate material and construction cost estimates.
Calculate and export: Click “Start Calculation” to view the results. A single result can be downloaded as a CSV, and batch results can be downloaded as a summary CSV or ZIP file.

FAQ

A: For common projects, 5%-10% can be set. If the ground is uneven, the formwork is complex, or there are significant transport and pouring losses, it can be increased appropriately; for small areas with stable conditions, a lower value can be used.

A: Enter it according to the design or site requirements. For example, 12 centimeters can be entered as 12 with centimeters selected, or as 0.12 with meters selected. The thickness of garage foundations, patios, and walkways should be determined based on load-bearing requirements.

A: For conventional slab foundations, the 150-250mm range can be used as a reference. The smaller the spacing, the greater the amount of steel used; when load-bearing requirements are higher, vehicles will pass over it, or structural requirements are clearly specified, settings should follow the design drawings or the advice of engineering personnel.

A: One data entry per line, in the format “Name,Length,Width,Thickness,Unit”, for example “Garage foundation,6,8,0.2,m”. Units support m, cm, mm, ft, and in. You can also download the CSV template and fill it in.

A: Theoretical volume is calculated as length × width × thickness; the recommended order quantity includes a reserve allowance and can be rounded to 0.1, 0.5, or 1 cubic meter, making it closer to the quantity used for purchasing.

A: The cost result is suitable as a budget reference. The actual quote will also be affected by regional prices, transport distance, pumping, formwork, base preparation, taxes and fees, and construction conditions. It is recommended to review it against supplier quotes.
