How to Use
- Select image files: Click “Select Images” to choose one or more images, or click “Select Folder” to batch import images from a folder. You can also drag images into the tool area or click “Load Sample” to try the workflow.
- Choose output format: In “Conversion Settings”, select a target format. Supported outputs include JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, AVIF, and ICO. Format-specific options will appear, such as quality for JPG/WebP/AVIF and icon size for ICO.
- Set quality and background:
- Quality: Controls output file size and clarity for JPG, WebP, and AVIF.
- Transparent background fill: When outputting JPG or BMP, or when “Force transparent areas to background color” is enabled, transparent areas are filled with the selected color.
- Set image size:
- Keep original size: Output using the original width and height.
- Limit maximum width/height: Scale proportionally within the specified range. You can choose to shrink only and avoid enlarging.
- Set width and height: Choose fit, crop to fill, or stretch to the specified size.
- Scale by percentage: Batch enlarge or shrink images by the entered percentage.
- Configure batch packaging: Choose whether to preserve folder structure and set the ZIP compression level. During batch conversion, output files use the original file name by default with only the extension changed. Duplicate names are automatically numbered.
- Start conversion: Click “Start Conversion” to process all images with the current settings. The interface shows only the first 20 files; remaining files are still processed.
- Download results: After processing, click “Download All Results ZIP” to get all files. If only one image is processed, you can also click “Download Single Result”.
FAQ
A: Input supports common image formats such as JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, SVG, AVIF, and ICO. Output supports JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, AVIF, and ICO. Available formats are detected automatically based on your device environment.
A: The original file name is kept by default, and only the extension is changed. For example, photo.png becomes photo.jpg after conversion to JPG. If duplicate names occur, numbers such as photo-2.jpg and photo-3.jpg are added automatically to avoid overwriting.
A: Yes. When importing a folder, the original folder structure is preserved in the ZIP by default. If you want all results in the ZIP root directory, change the folder structure option under “Batch & Packaging”.
A: JPG does not support transparency, so transparent areas are filled with the color selected under “Transparent background fill”. PNG, WebP, and AVIF can usually preserve transparency, but you can also enable “Force transparent areas to background color”.
A: WebP is suitable for website image compression and display. AVIF is useful for newer image workflows that need smaller file sizes. ICO is ideal for website favicons or software icons. For maximum compatibility, choose JPG or PNG.
A: Possible reasons include corrupted image files, unusual format encoding, SVG files referencing external resources, unsupported output formats in the current environment, or insufficient memory caused by very large images. Try outputting to JPG, PNG, or WebP, or process large images in smaller batches.
A: Batch processing uses memory and computing resources. Convert folders in smaller batches and avoid processing too many very large images at once. To unify dimensions, set a maximum width and height first. To reduce file size, lower the quality setting before conversion.
