Software Usage Instructions

Set the processing mode: Select “Encrypt” or “Decrypt”. Encryption generates Chinese-readable ciphertext, while decryption restores the original text using the same password.
Enter the processing password: Enter the password used to generate the key, or click “Generate Password”. Please keep a proper record of the password; if it is forgotten, the content cannot be restored.
Select the output style:
- Everyday Vocabulary: Uses common Chinese characters to form the ciphertext, suitable for processing general content.
- Poetic Imagery: Uses combinations of Chinese characters leaning toward landscapes, flowers, and the moon.
- Classical Tone: Uses a character set with a more literary and elegant classical style.
- Simple Characters: Uses a shorter character set for easier copying and verification.
Enter text or select files: Text mode is suitable for processing short messages and snippets; file mode supports batch selection of text files such as TXT, CSV, JSON, MD, and HTML.
Start processing: After entering the “Process” step, click “Start Processing”. Single-text results can be copied or downloaded, and batch files will be generated as a ZIP archive.
Save settings: Click “Save Settings” to save the mode, style, and key strength. Passwords and input content will not be saved.

FAQ

A: The tool first uses the password to generate a key for AES-GCM encryption, then converts the ciphertext bytes into a Chinese character set. Therefore, the result appears as continuous Chinese text, but the content still requires the password to be restored.

A: No. The password is used to derive the decryption key. The tool does not save the password and does not generate a recoverable backup key. Please keep a proper record of the password after encryption.

A: Different styles use different Chinese character sets. Everyday Vocabulary leans toward common characters, Poetic Imagery leans toward natural and emotional characters, Classical Tone leans toward literary classical forms, and Simple Characters is easier to copy. During decryption, the tool reads the style marker in the ciphertext.

A: Processed files will keep the original file names as much as possible. If duplicate names occur, a number will be added after the file name. For example, same.txt and same.txt will generate same.txt and same(2).txt.

A: Common causes include inconsistent passwords, the ciphertext prefix being deleted or modified, missing characters when copying, extra symbols inserted into the ciphertext, or ciphertext from an incompatible version. It is recommended to keep the full content starting with “易文密1:”.

A: Text mode can process Chinese, English, numbers, punctuation, and line breaks. File mode is suitable for text-based files such as TXT, CSV, JSON, MD, HTML, and LOG, but is not suitable for directly processing images, videos, or compressed archives.
