Software Instructions

Import SVG files: Click the “Choose File” button, or drag and drop SVG files into the upload area. You can also paste SVG source code and add it to the list. For batch files, only the first 20 are displayed, but all files will be included during processing.
Set background and transparency:
- Keep transparent: Suitable for PNGs that need transparent areas, such as logos, icons, and textures.
- White background: Suitable for document illustrations, presentations, and general image display.
- Custom background: Choose a specified color to fill transparent areas.
- Trim transparent margins: Remove blank transparent areas around the edges, and set the transparency threshold and padding margin.
Set output size:
- Original size: Export according to the SVG’s own width and height or viewBox.
- Scale multiplier: Export at 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 3x, or 4x.
- Custom width and height: Enter a fixed pixel size and choose proportional fit, proportional fill, or stretch to fill.
- DPI information: Choose 72, 96, 150, 300, or 600 DPI to mark the resolution for different uses.
Set file naming and optimization: Add a filename prefix or suffix, set the ZIP filename, and choose the PNG optimization method and ZIP compression method. If duplicate filenames are encountered, a number will be appended automatically.
Save settings: Click “Save Settings” to save the current parameters, which will be loaded automatically the next time you open the tool.
Start conversion: After entering the “Convert & Download” step, click “Start Conversion”. The tool will process all SVGs one by one and display the progress.
Download results: After conversion is complete, you can preview the first 20 PNG results, download them individually, or click “Download All Results (ZIP)” to get all files at once.

FAQ

A: In “Background and Transparency”, select “Keep transparent”. The converted PNG will preserve the transparent areas in the SVG. If you choose a white background or custom background, the transparent areas will be filled with the corresponding color.

A: The SVG may only have a viewBox set, without explicit width and height. The tool reads the SVG width and height first, then the viewBox. If you need a fixed size, choose “Custom width and height” and enter the target pixels.

A: DPI is mainly written into the PNG resolution information and does not change the pixel width or height by itself. To change the actual image dimensions, use scale resizing or custom width and height.

A: For regular icons and logos, choose “Browser standard encoding” or “lossless re-encoding.” If file size is important, try “256-color palette compression” or “128-color palette compression.” Palette compression reduces the number of colors and is suitable for graphics with fewer colors.

A: The tool keeps the original file name by default and changes the extension to .png. If multiple files have the same name after conversion, a number is automatically appended to the file name to prevent files in the download package from overwriting each other.

A: Common causes include incomplete SVG syntax, references to cross-origin external images or fonts, overly large dimensions, or incompatible content in the file. We recommend converting external images to embedded resources, converting fonts to paths, and reducing the output dimensions as needed.
