Software Usage Instructions

Select WAV audio files: Click the “Select WAV Files” area and choose the WAV audio you want to convert. You can select multiple files at once. The interface only displays the first 20 for review, but all files will be included during processing.
Load sample audio: If you want to preview the workflow first, click “Load Sample Audio.” The tool will generate a WAV sample for testing the conversion.
Configure MP3 output parameters:
- Encoding mode: Choose fixed bitrate CBR or variable quality VBR.
- Bitrate/VBR quality: Select 64kbps to 320kbps based on file size and audio quality needs, or set a VBR quality level.
- Sample rate: Keep the original sample rate, or convert to common specifications such as 48kHz, 44.1kHz, 32kHz, or 22.05kHz.
- Channels: Keep the original channels, or convert to mono or stereo.
- Encoding algorithm quality: Choose between conversion speed and encoding detail.
Set audio processing options:
- Volume normalization: Supports peak normalization, loudness normalization, and dynamic normalization.
- Volume gain: Adjust the overall volume of the output audio.
- Time trimming: Enter a start time, end time, or duration to convert only a specified segment.
- Fade in/out: Set the number of seconds for fade-in at the beginning and fade-out at the end of the audio.
- Remove leading and trailing silence: Trim silence at the beginning and end based on the silence threshold.
- High-pass/low-pass filtering: Reduce low-frequency or high-frequency parts as needed.
Save settings: After clicking “Save Settings,” the current parameters will be saved on the current device and can be reused the next time you open the tool.
Start conversion: After entering the “Convert and Download” page, click “Start Conversion.” The tool will process all selected WAV files in order.
Preview and download: After conversion is complete, you can preview the first 20 results, download an individual MP3, or click “Download All Results ZIP” to download all successful results as a package.

FAQ

A: MP3 is a lossy compression format, so some audio information will be reduced after conversion. For music, 192kbps or 320kbps is recommended. For speech, 96kbps or 128kbps is suitable to balance audio quality and file size.

A: Constant bitrate (CBR) uses a stable bitrate throughout the entire audio file, making the file size easier to estimate. VBR dynamically allocates bitrate based on audio complexity and is usually better for balancing audio quality and file size.

A: The output MP3 keeps the original WAV file name by default and only changes the extension to .mp3. If multiple converted files have duplicate names, the tool will automatically add a number to the file name to avoid overwriting results.

A: To keep the interface clear, the file list and result preview only show the first 20 items. Files that are not displayed will still be converted, and the ZIP download will also include all successful results.

A: Volume normalization is suitable for recordings, courses, podcasts, or voice materials from different sources with significant volume differences. When enabled, it makes the loudness of the output audio more consistent and reduces sudden changes in volume.

A: Common reasons include file corruption, non-standard WAV encoding, insufficient memory caused by an overly large file, or an unrecognized audio track. You can try processing in batches, lowering the settings, or first re-exporting the file as standard PCM WAV using audio editing software.
