Software Usage Instructions

Select FLAC audio files: Click the “Select FLAC Audio” button. You can select multiple FLAC files at once; the interface displays the first 20 files, and files not shown will also be included in the conversion.
Set MP3 output parameters:
- Encoding mode: Choose a constant bitrate (CBR), or use VBR quality mode.
- Bitrate: Supports common options such as 64, 96, 128, 160, 192, 224, 256, and 320kbps.
- Sample rate: Keep the original sample rate, or set it to 48kHz, 44.1kHz, 32kHz, 22.05kHz, 16kHz, or 8kHz.
- Channels: Keep the original channels, or convert to stereo or mono.
Configure processing options:
- Volume normalization: Supports peak normalization, loudness normalization, and dynamic normalization.
- Trim segment: Enter a start time, end time, or duration to extract. Seconds and hour-minute-second formats are supported.
- Fade in/out: Set the number of seconds for fade-in at the beginning and fade-out at the end to make audio transitions more natural.
- Filtering and silence: Set high-pass and low-pass filters, and remove silence at the beginning and end based on a threshold.
- Save settings: Click “Save Settings”, and the current parameters will be used automatically the next time you open it.
Start conversion: Go to the “Convert & Download” step, confirm the file count and parameters, then click “Start Conversion”.
Preview and download: After conversion is complete, you can listen to the result; multiple files will be automatically written into a ZIP file, and duplicate file names will be distinguished by adding a number after the original file name.

FAQ

A: CBR uses a constant bitrate, making file size easier to estimate; VBR allocates bitrate based on the audio content, making it suitable for balancing file size and listening quality.

A: For speech content, choose 96kbps or 128kbps; for everyday music, choose 192kbps; if you need to preserve more detail, choose 256kbps or 320kbps.

A: 44.1kHz is commonly used for music files, and 48kHz is commonly used for video voiceovers. If there are no specific publishing requirements, keeping the original or choosing 44.1kHz is generally safe.

A: For music, we recommend keeping the original channels or choosing stereo; for voice content such as courses, meetings, and podcasts, you can choose mono to reduce file size.

A: Output files will use the original file name with the extension changed to .mp3; if duplicate names occur, a number will be automatically appended to the file name to prevent overwriting.

A: Common causes include file corruption, abnormal audio headers, non-standard encoding parameters, or insufficient memory due to overly large files. Try re-exporting the FLAC or processing files in batches.
