Software Usage Instructions

Set conversion parameters: First select the output format. Available options include SVG, PNG, JPG, PDF, HTML, JSON, CSV, and XML. Then set the page range, image scale, background color, transparent background, and output size according to your needs.
Select Visio files: Click the file selection area and choose the Visio files you want to convert. Formats such as VSDX, VSDM, VSSX, VSTX, VDX, and VSD are supported, and you can select multiple files at once.
Check the file list: When uploading multiple files, the page will display the first 20 files, and any additional files will be indicated with a text prompt. During actual processing, all selected files will be processed.
Start conversion: Go to the export generation step and click the “Start Conversion” button. The tool will parse pages, shapes, text, and connectors based on your settings and generate files in the corresponding format.
Preview and download: After conversion is complete, you can preview the first 6 results, download them individually, or click “Download All Results ZIP” to download them as a package. If duplicate file names occur, a number will be automatically added to the file name.

FAQ

A: Structured Visio files such as VSDX, VSDM, VSSX, VSTX, and VDX are supported for parsing, and older files such as VSD, VSX, and VTX can also be recognized. Older binary files will generate a compatibility report. It is recommended to save them as VSDX or VDX before converting the graphics.

A: SVG is suitable for preserving lines and scalable viewing; PNG is suitable for clear image output; JPG is suitable for smaller files for sharing; PDF is suitable for archiving and printing; JSON, CSV, and XML are suitable for extracting page, shape, text, and coordinate data.

A: Yes. After selecting multiple files, they will be processed one by one, and the result files will retain the original file names. If different files generate results with the same name, the system will automatically append a number. After processing is complete, you can download a ZIP archive.

A: VSD is an older binary format with a structure different from VSDX and VDX, so direct front-end rendering of graphics has limited compatibility. We recommend saving the VSD as VSDX or VDX in Visio or compatible software before converting the graphics.

A: Try increasing the output size or image scale, and make sure the “Preserve text” option is enabled. Complex graphics, grouped shapes, or special fonts may display differently. We recommend exporting to SVG or PDF first.

A: Transparent backgrounds are mainly supported by SVG and PNG. JPG does not support transparent backgrounds; when JPG is selected, the image is generated using the background color in the settings.
