Software Usage Instructions

Select image files: Click the upload area or drag images onto the page to select the images you want to convert. Supports JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WebP, HEIC, and other formats, with batch selection of multiple files.
Arrange image order: After uploading, previews of the first 20 images will be displayed, and any additional images will be indicated with text. You can use Move Up, Move Down, Delete, Sort by Name, Sort by Size, and Reverse Order to arrange the PDF page order.
Select output method:
- Generate PDFs individually: Each image generates a PDF with the same name, and multiple results are automatically packaged as a ZIP.
- Merge into a single PDF: Merge multiple images into one PDF file in order.
- Multi-image layout PDF: Place multiple images on the same page, suitable for thumbnails and document previews.
Configure PDF parameters:
- Page size: Choose A4, A3, A5, Letter, Legal, create pages based on image aspect ratio, or use a custom size.
- Page orientation: Supports automatic matching, portrait, and landscape.
- Margins and spacing: Set page margins and image spacing for multi-image layouts.
- Image quality: Choose JPEG or PNG encoding, and adjust JPEG quality and side length limits.
- Additional options: Keep image proportions, center images, adjust pages based on image orientation, and add page numbers.
Save settings: Click “Save Settings” to record the current PDF parameters and automatically restore them the next time you use the tool.
Start conversion: After entering the “Process & Download” step, click “Start Conversion” and wait for the progress to complete.
Download results: A single PDF can be downloaded directly; multiple PDFs will be provided as a ZIP archive. File names will match the original image file names as closely as possible, and numbers will be added automatically to distinguish duplicate names.

FAQ

A: Common image formats such as JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WebP, HEIC, and HEIF are supported. For everyday documents, JPG or PNG is recommended to balance clarity and file size.

A: Yes. Select “Merge into a single PDF” in the PDF settings, and the tool will generate the PDF page by page according to the image list order. Before conversion, you can adjust the page order using sorting, Move Up, Move Down, and other functions.

A: This is because “Generate separate PDFs” mode was selected. This mode creates one PDF for each image and keeps a filename close to the original image. If you need a single PDF file, switch to “Merge into one PDF.”

A: You can lower the JPEG quality, enable side-length limits, choose JPEG encoding, or properly compress the original images before conversion. When processing many scans or photos, batch processing is recommended.

A: Fixed page sizes such as A4, A3, and Letter are suitable for printing and archiving. “Create pages based on image ratio” generates pages based on the image dimensions, which is suitable for preserving the original image ratio and reducing blank margins.

A: After uploading, you can click the Move Up and Move Down buttons in the image list to adjust the order, or sort by filename or size. The PDF will generate pages according to the current list order.

A: No. Image reading, layout, and PDF generation are all completed locally on your device, and files will not be uploaded to the server.
