FAQ
A: EPUB to TXT, TXT to EPUB, TXT text normalization, and EPUB regeneration are reliably supported. MOBI and AZW3 can be used to try extracting readable text, but encrypted or complex compressed content may not be fully parsed.
A: MOBI and AZW3 are Kindle-related formats, and full generation usually requires a specialized conversion engine. This tool focuses on stable EPUB and TXT processing to avoid generating pseudo-format files that cannot be read properly.
A: Yes. The tool supports generating EPUB by chapter title, blank lines, a fixed number of paragraphs, or as a single chapter. It is recommended to use titles such as “Chapter 1” and “Chapter 2” in the TXT file for clearer table of contents recognition.
A: Not completely. TXT is a plain text format, suitable for extracting body text, archiving, and re-editing; images, styles, footnote layouts, complex tables, and similar content will be simplified or removed.
A: No. Result files will keep the original file names as much as possible; if files with the same name are encountered, the tool will append a number to the file name, such as book-2.epub or book-3.epub.
A: You can manually select UTF-8, GBK/GB18030, or Big5 under “Source file encoding” and process the file again. Older TXT files often have inconsistent encodings, and manually specifying the encoding can usually improve recognition.
