Software Usage Instructions

Prepare content: Choose pasted input, a single file, or batch files. You can use .md, .markdown, .mdown, .mkd, and .txt formats.
Confirm preview: After entering or selecting a file, check the title, word count, number of tables, and preview of the previous document.
Set layout: Set the body font, heading font, font size, code font, page size, orientation, margins, line spacing, first-line indent, and spacing after paragraphs as needed.
Select add-ons: You can generate a table of contents page, page numbers, headers and footers, and a cover page, and set table borders, code block background color, and link handling.
Save settings: Click “Save Settings” to keep commonly used parameters, or export or import the settings JSON.
Start conversion: After entering the “Convert & Download” step, click Start Conversion. A single file outputs a DOCX, while multiple files output a ZIP archive.

FAQ

A: Common syntax is supported, including headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, ordered lists, unordered lists, task lists, tables, horizontal rules, inline code, code blocks, bold, italic, strikethrough, and links.

A: Output files will keep the original file names and be changed to .docx format. If duplicate names occur, a numeric suffix is automatically added to the file name to avoid overwriting results.

A: Yes. The generated file is a DOCX document and can be opened and edited further with office software such as Microsoft Word, WPS Office, and LibreOffice.

A: After “Generate table of contents page” is enabled, the tool will generate table of contents content based on the heading levels in the Markdown, making it easier to view the document structure.

A: No. File reading, parsing, DOCX generation, and ZIP packaging are all completed on the current device; document content is not uploaded to the server.

A: The current focus is on converting text, tables, links, and code structures. Markdown images are preserved as image descriptions or link text. If you need formatted images, you can insert them in Word after conversion.
