Software Instructions

Select OFD files: Click the “Select OFD files” area and choose the OFD files you want to convert. You can select a single file or multiple files for batch processing.
Check the file list: After selecting files, the tool will display the names and sizes of the first 20 files. If there are more than 20 files, the files not shown will still be included in the conversion.
Configure conversion settings:
- Output quality: Choose from print quality, daily archiving, or quick preview.
- Page size: Choose automatic original page size, A4, A3, or Letter.
- Page orientation: Choose auto-detect, portrait, or landscape.
- Page image format: Choose JPEG or PNG.
- Compression options: For batch conversion, you can enable ZIP compression and generate a processing report.
Save settings: For frequently used parameters, click “Save settings” to keep using them the next time you open the tool.
Start conversion: Go to the “Process and Download” step, click “Start Conversion,” and wait for the progress to complete.
Download results: After converting a single file, you can download the PDF; after converting multiple files, you can download a ZIP archive. Output file names will use the original file names, and a numeric suffix will be added automatically if duplicates occur.

FAQ

A: Yes. OFD is commonly used for fixed-layout documents such as electronic invoices, electronic official documents, and electronic licenses. Converting them to PDF makes them easier to view, print, archive, and share.

A: By default, the converted results use the original OFD file names, with only the extension changed to PDF. If files have the same name, a numeric suffix is added automatically, such as invoice_1.pdf.

A: In general, “Automatically use original page size” is recommended to preserve the original OFD layout ratio. If you need a unified print size, choose A4, A3, or Letter.

A: PDFs generated from JPEG are usually smaller and suitable for everyday archiving; PNG has sharper edges and is suitable for documents with more text and lines or where details need to be preserved.

A: You can try converting them. Seals are usually preserved in the PDF as page images, but the converted PDF does not provide the original OFD electronic seal verification capability.

A: Common reasons include file corruption, a non-standard OFD structure, missing resource files, and incompatible special fonts or image encoding. You can first test the workflow with sample data, then check whether the original OFD file can be opened normally.
