Software Instructions
- Select PDF files: Click “Select PDF Files” or drag in PDF documents. You can select multiple files at once; the interface only displays the first 20 files, and the remaining files will be added to the task during processing.
- Load sample data: If you want to preview the effect first, click “Load Sample PDF”; the tool will generate a sample document for testing watermark settings.
- Select watermark type:
- Text watermark: Enter the watermark text, and set the font size, color, font style, outline, opacity, and rotation angle.
- Image watermark: Select a PNG, JPG, or JPEG image, and set the watermark size by page ratio, original ratio, or fixed width.
- Configure position and layout: Choose positions such as center, corners, or edges, and set the horizontal and vertical margins; you can also enable full-page tiling and adjust the horizontal and vertical spacing.
- Set page range: Supports all pages, odd pages, even pages, continuous page ranges, and custom page numbers, such as “1,3,5-8”.
- Set output rules: You can choose to keep the original file name or append a suffix; if duplicate names occur, the tool will automatically append a number to the file name to distinguish them.
- Save common settings: Click “Save Settings” to keep the current watermark parameters and automatically restore them the next time you open the tool; you can restore defaults when you need to reconfigure.
- Start processing and download: After entering the “Process & Download” page, click “Start Adding Watermark”, then click “Download ZIP” after completion to get all processed results.
Frequently Asked Questions
A: Text watermarks are suitable for adding text labels such as “Internal Use”, “Draft”, and “Copyright Notice”; image watermarks are suitable for adding logos, stamps, signature images, or transparent PNG graphics. Both modes can set opacity, position, and rotation angle.
A: Yes. The page range supports all pages, odd pages, even pages, specified continuous ranges, and custom page numbers. For custom page numbers, you can enter a format such as “1,3,5-8” to process only the specified pages.
A: Tiled watermarks repeatedly arrange the watermark content across the page, making them suitable for preventing document distribution, marking contracts, identifying drafts, and similar scenarios. You can control the watermark density through horizontal and vertical spacing.
A: No. The tool will try to keep the original file names. If duplicate names appear in the output, numbers will be added automatically, such as “Contract.pdf”, “Contract_1.pdf”, and “Contract_2.pdf”, to prevent files from overwriting each other.
A: PNG, JPG, and JPEG images are supported. If you need a transparent background, PNG is recommended. For logos or stamps, you can adjust the display effect using transparency and size mode.
A: No. PDF reading, watermark adding, and ZIP packaging are all completed on the current device, and the original files will not be uploaded to the server.
A: Common causes include damaged PDF files, files with encryption restrictions, unsupported image formats, files that are too large for a single batch, or insufficient device memory. You can try removing problematic files, processing in batches, or using a PDF repair tool to fix the source files first.
