How to Use

Select files: Click “Select File A” and “Select File B” to add the two TXT files to compare, or drag files into the corresponding areas.
Check file info: After selection, the page shows the file name, size, and valid line count so you can verify the data size before processing.
Choose a mode: Select a function tab, including lines only in B, lines only in A, common lines, merge and dedupe, different lines, source labels, and keyword filtering.
Set options: Turn “Ignore empty lines,” “Case sensitive,” and “Trim whitespace” on or off as needed to match your text cleanup scenario.
Enter keywords: In “Keyword Filter” mode, enter keywords in the input box. Separate multiple keywords with the English vertical bar “|”.
Start processing: Click “Start” to generate results based on the current mode. The tool shows progress, result lines, character count, and elapsed time.
Copy or download: After processing, copy the result directly or click “Download TXT” to save it as a new text file.

FAQ

A: File A is usually the baseline file, and File B is the comparison file. If you choose “Lines only in B,” the result shows lines that exist only in File B. If you choose “Lines only in A,” the result shows lines that exist only in File A.

A: It compares by line. Each line is treated as a separate record for difference, intersection, union, or keyword filtering.

A: Yes. Separate multiple keywords with the English vertical bar “|”, for example: error|warning|failed. A line is kept if it matches any keyword.

A: Some modes automatically remove duplicates, such as intersection, union, difference, and keyword filtering. Also, if “Ignore empty lines” is enabled, blank lines are excluded from the result.

A: When enabled, ABC and abc are treated as different content. When disabled, matching is case-insensitive, which is useful for mixed-case lists, logs, or keyword data.

A: Source label mode merges files A and B and adds a source marker at the end of each line. It is useful when you need to keep track of which file each record came from.
