Software Usage Instructions

Select an input method: Choose “Text Input” to paste multiple lines directly, or choose “File Upload” to select TXT files in batches.
Prepare the text content: Keep one item per line, such as names, keywords, questions, paragraphs, or numbers. In text input mode, click “Load Sample Data” to quickly preview the effect.
Configure processing rules:
- Trim leading and trailing spaces: Remove extra spaces before and after each line.
- Remove empty lines: Filter out blank lines and keep only valid content for randomization.
- Remove duplicate lines: Remove duplicate text lines, with an option to make matching case-sensitive.
- Keep the first line in place: Suitable for text with a header row or fixed first-line instructions.
- Fixed random seed: The same content and the same settings can reproduce the same sorting result.
Set the output format: Choose plain text, add line numbers, or use single-column CSV format, and set the line break type, preview line count, and download file name.
Start randomizing: Click the “Randomize” button, and the tool will reorder the text lines according to the current rules.
Copy and download results: Text input results can be copied directly or downloaded as a TXT file; after batch TXT file processing, original file names will be preserved, numbers will be appended automatically for duplicate names, and the files will be packaged as a ZIP for download.

FAQ

A: It is suitable for line-based text content such as name lists, keywords, question banks, survey options, paragraphs, numbered lists, test data, and content materials.

A: A fixed random seed is used to reproduce sorting results. The same batch of text, the same processing rules, and the same seed value will produce the same randomized order, making it easier to review and record.

A: When the first line is a header, category name, or explanatory text, you can enable “Keep first line in place.” The tool will fix the first line and randomly shuffle only the subsequent content.

A: Processed file names will be kept as close to the original file names as possible. If multiple files have the same name, the tool will append numbers to the file names to distinguish them, then package them all into a ZIP file for download.

A: If a file contains fewer than 2 valid text lines, a randomized result cannot be generated. The tool will skip the file and show the reason in the results area. Check whether there are empty files, single-line files, or cleaning rules that are too strict.

A: The tool keeps the first occurrence of each text line, and later duplicate content is removed. You can use “Case-sensitive duplicate detection” to control whether content with different capitalization is treated as duplicate.
