Set parameters before deduplicating text

Choose input method

Set dedupe rules

Set options first, then click Process. Common settings can be saved and restored next time.

Trim spaces Remove leading and trailing whitespace on each line to help detect identical lines.

Remove blank lines Remove blank lines. If off, blank lines are also deduped and one is kept.

Ignore case Treat Apple, APPLE, and apple as the same line.

Merge consecutive spaces Compare multiple consecutive spaces or tabs as one space. Good for pasted data.

Remove BOM Clean hidden characters such as UTF-8 BOM to reduce first-line issues.

Keep original order Keep the first occurrence position. If off, sort by text rules.

Software Usage Instructions

Select an input method: You can paste text directly, or select one or more TXT files for batch processing. Batch file mode preserves the original file names and automatically appends numbers to distinguish duplicate names.
Use sample data: Click the name list, email address, keyword list, or mixed data button to load examples and preview the deduplication results.
Configure deduplication rules:
- Trim leading and trailing spaces: Removes whitespace characters at the beginning and end of each line.
- Remove empty lines: Automatically removes blank lines; when disabled, blank lines will also be included in deduplication.
- Ignore case: Treats Apple, APPLE, and apple as the same content.
- Merge consecutive spaces: Compares multiple consecutive spaces or tabs as a single space.
- Keep original order: Outputs content based on where it first appears; when disabled, results can be sorted by text rules.
Select file encoding: Choose UTF-8, GB18030/GBK/GB2312, Big5, or ISO-8859-1 based on your TXT file. If Chinese text appears garbled, switch the encoding and try again.
Start processing: After completing the settings, click “Start Deduplication” and the tool will generate statistics and a result preview.
Download results: A single result can be downloaded directly; after processing multiple TXT files, click “Download All Results” to get a ZIP archive.

FAQ

A: By default, the tool identifies duplicates by line, keeping only one copy when the same line appears multiple times. You can also enable rules such as ignoring case, trimming leading and trailing spaces, and merging consecutive spaces to make the detection better match your actual data.

A: After batch TXT file processing, the original file names will be preserved as much as possible. If multiple files have the same name, the system will append a number to the file name, such as data.txt or data (1).txt, to prevent results from overwriting each other.

A: It is suitable for data such as English keywords, email addresses, accounts, and code lists. For example, User@Example.com and user@example.com will be treated as duplicate content when case-insensitive mode is enabled.

A: Preserving the original order outputs content based on where it first appears, making it suitable for lists, records, and manually organized data; sorted output rearranges the deduplicated content, making it suitable for keyword lists, word libraries, and data that requires a consistent order.

A: Garbled text is usually caused by a file encoding mismatch. For Chinese TXT files, try selecting GB18030/GBK/GB2312; for regular UTF-8 files, select UTF-8.

A: No. Text reading, deduplication, statistics, preview, and packaging are all completed locally, and file content will not be submitted to the server.
