Confirm the rules in “Processing Settings” first, then click Start. Paste text, select TXT files in bulk, merge, deduplicate per file, or deduplicate after merging. When multiple files are selected, only the first 20 are shown, but all files are processed.

Software Usage Instructions

Select input content: You can paste TXT content into the text box, or select multiple TXT files for batch processing. The file list only displays the first 20 files; the remaining files will still be processed.
Confirm the processing scope: In “Processing Settings,” choose whether to process the text box content, the selected files, or let the tool decide automatically. When files are present, automatic detection will prioritize processing the files.
Select a processing mode:
- Deduplicate by file: Remove duplicate lines independently in each file. Output file names keep the original file names; if duplicate names occur, numbers will be added automatically to distinguish them.
- Merge then deduplicate: First merge multiple files or text content, then remove duplicate lines from the merged result.
- Merge only: Merge content in order without removing duplicate lines.
Configure deduplication rules: You can set whether to keep the first occurrence, keep the last occurrence, or delete all duplicate groups, and choose comparison rules such as case, whitespace, blank lines, punctuation, and full-width to half-width conversion.
Set output parameters: You can choose LF or CRLF line endings, set the merge file separator, output file name, whether to add a UTF-8 BOM, and whether to add file separator markers.
Start processing and download: Click “Start Processing” to view statistics, details, and a preview. File-by-file processing will generate a ZIP archive, while merge mode will generate a TXT file.

FAQ

A: Deduplicate by file processes each TXT file separately, suitable for keeping independent results for each file; Merge then deduplicate first combines the content together, then removes duplicate lines uniformly, suitable for organizing cross-file data such as lists, keywords, and logs.

A: By default, duplicate lines are identified by exact full-line matches. You can also choose in the settings to ignore case, ignore leading and trailing whitespace, collapse consecutive whitespace, ignore common punctuation, or convert full-width characters to half-width, so similar content in different formats is compared using the same rules.

A: Yes. The tool provides three options for blank lines: keep blank lines, keep only one blank line, or remove blank lines. Case can also be set to be case-sensitive or ignored. Please confirm the rules based on your data usage before processing.

A: When processing files one by one, the original file names are kept whenever possible. If files with the same name are encountered, the system appends a number to the file name, such as data.txt, data2.txt, data3.txt, to prevent files in the compressed package from overwriting each other.

A: Processing time depends on your device's memory, CPU, and the total amount of text. For large files, process them in batches. If the content reaches the GB level, reduce the number of files processed at once and close programs that use a lot of resources.

A: You can manually select UTF-8, GBK, GB18030, Big5, or UTF-16 LE under “File Encoding”. Common encodings for Chinese TXT files are UTF-8 or GBK. Switch the encoding and process again.
