Software Usage Instructions

Upload PDF files: Click the “Select PDF” area and choose one or more PDF files to convert. When selecting in batches, the interface will show the first 20 files for review, but all files will be included during processing.
Confirm the file preview: After uploading, you can view the thumbnail of the first PDF page, file size, and page count. If there are many files, you can check the file list to confirm whether the correct files were selected.
Configure conversion parameters:
- Output format: PNG, JPG, and WebP are supported. Choose based on your needs for clarity and file size.
- Image quality: Controls the compression quality when exporting JPG and WebP.
- Render scale: The higher the scale, the clearer the text and details, but processing time and memory usage will increase.
- Long image width: Set the output width of the final long image. For common sharing scenarios, 900-1600 pixels is recommended.
- Page spacing: Controls the blank space between PDF pages, making it easier to distinguish page boundaries.
- Page numbers, watermark, and background: Add page number labels, watermark text, page shadows, or a transparent PNG background as needed.
Save frequently used settings: Click “Save Settings” to save the current parameters, which will be loaded automatically the next time you use the tool.
Generate the long image: Go to the “Generate Download” step and click “Generate Long Image”. The tool will process all PDF files using the current parameters.
Preview and download: After converting a single PDF, you can download the image directly. After converting multiple PDFs, the original file names will be retained and packaged into a ZIP download. If duplicate names are found, numbers will be appended automatically.

A: Converting a PDF to a long image stitches the multi-page PDF content vertically in order into one continuous image. Converting a PDF to images usually exports each page as a separate image. Long images are suitable for document presentation, page sharing, and continuous reading.

A: PNG, JPG, and WebP are supported. PNG is suitable for PDFs with text, tables, and screenshots; JPG is suitable for documents with many images that need controlled file size; WebP is suitable for scenarios that balance clarity and compression ratio.

A: For regular reading and sharing, you can use a width of 1200 pixels and a 1.5x render scale. If the text is small or needs to be zoomed in for viewing, increase it to 1600–1800 pixels and a scale above 2x. A: Batch conversion uses the original PDF file name as the image file name. For example, “Contract.pdf” will be exported as “Contract.png”. If multiple files have the same name, the tool will automatically append a number to the file name to avoid overwriting results.

The more pages, the larger the width, and the higher the render scale, the greater the processing time and memory usage.
