The Mammoth parser is better suited for DOCX documents. Legacy DOC is a binary format. If processing fails, save it as DOCX in Word or WPS first, then convert.

Software Usage Instructions

Select Word documents: Click the upload area or drag files in. Batch selection is supported. DOCX documents can be processed directly. For older DOC files, it is recommended to save them as DOCX first before converting.
Use sample data: If you do not have a document, you can click “Resume Template,” “Work Report Template,” or “Contract Document Template” to try the conversion process.
Configure output parameters:
- Output format: PNG, JPG, and WebP formats are supported.
- Long image width: You can set the width of the long image. The common range is 800px to 1400px.
- Rendering precision: You can choose Standard, Clear, or HD mode.
- Image quality: Used to control the file size and clarity of JPG and WebP exports.
- Layout options: You can set margins, background color, text color, pagination guide lines, and automatic segmentation.
Save settings: Click “Save Settings” to keep the current parameters so you can continue using the same configuration next time.
Start conversion: After entering the “Process & Download” step, click “Start Conversion,” and the tool will process the selected documents according to the current settings.
Preview and download: After conversion is complete, you can preview the first 20 result images, download individual images, or click “Download All Results (ZIP)” to get all images.

FAQ

A: The DOCX format is mainly supported. Older DOC files can be selected, but the binary format may not be parsed reliably. It is recommended to save them as DOCX using Word or WPS before converting.

A: PNG is suitable for text and tables with clear visuals; JPG has a smaller file size and is suitable for sharing; WebP offers a good balance between clarity and file size.

A: For mobile reading, around 800px is suitable; for sharing general materials, around 1000px works well; when clearer text and tables are needed, set it to 1200px to 1400px.

A: To keep the page responsive, the interface only displays previews of the first 20 results. The actual processing includes all selected documents, and the downloaded ZIP will also contain all generated images.

A: No. Processing is completed on the current device, and the document content and generated images do not need to be uploaded to the server.

A: You can enable “Automatically split extra-long images.” When the generated image exceeds the set height, the tool will split it into multiple images and save them in the ZIP with the original file name plus a sequence number.

A: Common causes include the older DOC format, password-protected documents, corrupted files, complex objects, or insufficient memory. We recommend using the DOCX format and reducing the number of files processed at one time.
