Software Usage Instructions

Select image files: Click the “Select Images” button to choose the JPG, JPEG, or PNG images you want to lay out. You can also drag and drop images into the selection area.
Load sample data: To try the result first, click “Load Sample”. The tool will automatically generate a set of sample images for testing the layout.
Set page parameters:
- Page orientation: Choose portrait or landscape pages.
- Paper size: Supports A4, A3, and Letter paper.
- Page margins and image spacing: Adjust whitespace according to the document purpose.
Set image layout: Choose to place 1, 2, 4, 6, or 8 images per page. The system will automatically generate the corresponding row and column layout.
Configure display options:
- Image sorting: Supports sorting by selection order, file name, or file size.
- Show file names: Set whether to display file names below images and whether to include file extensions.
- Table borders: Show or hide layout border lines as needed.
Select output method:
- Merge into one Word file: Lay out all images by page in a single DOCX document.
- Generate separately and package: Generate one DOCX document for each image and compress them into a ZIP file for download.
Save settings and generate: After confirming the output file name, image quality, and file name display method, click “Save Settings”, then click “Generate Document” to process and download the result.

FAQ

A: If you need to show image details, choose 1 or 2 images per page. If it is for document archiving, site records, or an image list, choose 4, 6, or 8 images per page. The more images there are, the smaller each image will appear.

A: Choose portrait pages when you have more vertical photos, and choose landscape pages when you have more horizontal screenshots, product images, or wide images. You can also use the layout preview on the right to determine whether the page space is suitable.

A: “Merge into one Word file” is suitable for creating a unified image document; “Generate separately and package” is suitable for scenarios where each image needs a separate DOCX file. The generated files will be placed in a ZIP archive.

A: No. Image processing and Word document generation are both completed locally on the current page, and image files will not be uploaded to the server.

A: You can choose “Balanced compression” or “Small-size compression” under “Image quality,” or reduce the number of images processed at one time. For printing or archiving, you can choose “Original image write-in” or “High-definition compression.”

A: In “Generate separately and package” mode, the generated files will use the original image names as much as possible. If duplicate names are encountered, a number will be automatically added after the file name to avoid overwriting existing results.
