Software Usage Instructions

Select an input method: Paste keywords, batch-select TXT/CSV files, or load sample data. After batch-selecting files, the interface displays the first 20 files; the remaining files are not shown but will still be processed.
Configure text cleaning: Set the line-splitting method, minimum/maximum character count, and minimum word count, and enable options as needed, such as converting full-width characters to half-width, merging spaces, ignoring English case, and removing exact duplicates.
Set similarity filtering: Adjust the similarity threshold, choose hybrid similarity, edit distance, or token overlap, and set whether to keep the longer term, shorter term, first-occurring term, or more complete-intent term when similar terms appear.
Add filtering rules: Enter rule terms in the required terms and excluded terms fields, one per line; required terms can be set to match any one or all of them.
Start filtering: Click “Start Filtering,” and the tool will generate a kept list, removed list, and similarity details, which can be previewed in the results area.
Download results: Click “Download Results ZIP” to download the compressed package. Multi-file results will be saved in the kept, removed, and reports folders; if duplicate names occur, a number will be added after the file name.

FAQ

A: The higher the threshold, the more closely worded the keywords must be to be classified as similar. When the threshold is lowered, terms with similar meanings but different wording can also be identified. It is recommended to run a test with the default value first, then adjust based on the removed list.

A: Keeping longer terms is suitable for organizing long-tail keyword libraries and retaining more specific search expressions; keeping shorter terms is suitable for extracting core terms, making it easier to create groups, run ads, or plan site sections.

A: The results ZIP will retain the original file names and separate them into kept list, removed list, and report folders. If multiple files have the same name, the system will add a number after the file name to distinguish them.

A: Common reasons include exact duplicates, similarity to an already kept term, matching an excluded term, not matching a required term, being below the minimum character count, or exceeding the maximum character count. You can view the reasons and matched terms in the similarity details report.

A: No. File reading, keyword filtering, and ZIP generation are all completed on the current device. The server will not receive the contents of the keyword file.

A: One keyword per line is recommended. If the file uses commas, semicolons, or Tabs as separators, you can select the automatic splitting method in “Text Cleaning”.
