Software Usage Instructions

Select PDF files: Click the “Select PDF” area to choose files, or drag and drop PDFs into the tool. You can select a single PDF or select multiple PDFs at once for batch processing.
Confirm the file list: When multiple files are selected, the interface only displays the first 20 files for checking; all selected files will be included during processing.
Set page rules:
- Specify page numbers: Enter the page numbers to delete, such as 1,3,5-8, or click thumbnails to select pages.
- Delete the first/last N pages: Suitable for removing covers, tables of contents, attachment pages, or blank trailing pages.
- Delete odd/even pages: Batch delete odd-numbered or even-numbered pages.
- Delete a continuous range: Set the start page and end page to delete pages in that range.
- Keep only specified pages or ranges: Keep the entered pages and delete all other pages.
Preview pages: When processing a single file, you can view page thumbnails and click a page to select or deselect it. If there are many pages, you can continue selecting later pages by entering page numbers.
Save settings: Common deletion rules, output filename methods, and batch processing options can be saved for convenient reuse next time.
Start processing: After confirming the rules, go to the “Process & Download” step and click “Start Deleting Pages”. The tool will check that at least 1 page is retained to avoid generating an invalid PDF.
Download results: After processing a single file, you can download the new PDF; after batch processing multiple files, you can download a ZIP archive. Batch results will keep the original filenames as much as possible, and numbers will be added automatically to distinguish duplicate names.

FAQ

A: Single pages, multiple pages, continuous ranges, and mixed formats are supported. For example: 3 means page 3, 1,3,5 means pages 1, 3, and 5, 5-8 means pages 5 to 8, and 1,3,5-8,12 means a combined selection.

A: Delete pages removes the pages you select and keeps the other pages; Keep only pages keeps the pages you enter or select and deletes all other pages. When you only need a few pages from a document, keeping only pages is more convenient.

A: No. A PDF must keep at least 1 page to remain a valid file. The tool checks the rules before processing. If the rules would delete all pages, it will prompt you to adjust the page numbers.

A: By default, the original file names are kept. If duplicate names appear in the batch results, the tool automatically adds numbers after the file names to distinguish them. You can also choose to add a uniform suffix to output file names.

A: Common reasons include file corruption, an open password on the PDF, editing restrictions, or a non-standard file structure. We recommend first confirming that the PDF can be opened normally, then removing any password or editing restrictions before processing.

A: By default, failed files are skipped and other files continue to be processed. After completion, the numbers of successful, skipped, and failed files are displayed. If you want processing to stop immediately when an error occurs, you can turn off the “Skip error files during batch processing” option.

Answer: No. The tool will generate a new PDF result for download, and the original PDF will not be overwritten. You can reset the rules as needed and process it again.
