Software Usage Instructions

Select PDF files: Go to the “Select Files” step, choose single-file mode, batch unified stamp mode, or batch matched stamp mode, then upload the PDF files to be processed.
Select stamp images: Go to the “Select Stamp” step and upload stamp images in formats such as PNG or JPG. In batch matching mode, the stamp image file name must match the PDF file name, for example, “Contract A.pdf” corresponds to “Contract A.png”.
Check matching status: View the correspondence between PDFs and stamps in the matching check area. When there are many batch files, the interface only displays the first 20 files, but all files will be included during processing.
Set cross-page stamp parameters:
- Stamp position: Choose the left page seam or right page seam.
- Stamp size: Set the full width and height of the stamp. The tool will split the stamp according to the number of pages to be stamped.
- Vertical position: Control the position of the cross-page stamp along the page height.
- Edge offset: Fine-tune the distance between the stamp and the page edge.
- Slice vertical adjustment: Adjust the up/down position of the stamp slice on each page.
- Opacity: Set the display opacity of the stamp to balance the stamping effect with readability of the text.
- Skip first/last page: Exclude the cover or back cover as needed for the document.
Save settings: Click “Save Settings” to save frequently used parameters, which will be loaded automatically next time.
Start processing: Go to the “Process & Download” step and click “Start Generating Cross-Page Stamp”. After single-file processing is complete, you can download the PDF; after batch processing is complete, you can download the ZIP.

FAQ

A: A PDF cross-page stamp splits a complete stamp according to the number of pages and applies the slices in sequence along the page seam of a multi-page PDF, so that the document shows a continuous stamp effect when the pages are spread out. It is commonly used for contracts, agreements, bid documents, and similar files.

A: A unified stamp is suitable when multiple PDFs share the same stamp image; a matched stamp is suitable when different PDFs use different stamps, and the tool will automatically find images with the same file names.

A: It is recommended to use PNG images with a transparent background, as the edges look more natural after stamping. JPG images can also be used, but if the background is white, it may cover content on the PDF page.

A: Batch matching requires the main file names of the PDF and seal image to be the same; extensions are not compared. For example, “Purchase Contract.pdf” should match “Purchase Contract.png” or “Purchase Contract.jpg”.

A: Batch mode keeps the original PDF file names by default. If files with the same name are encountered, the tool will append a numeric suffix to the file name to prevent files in the ZIP from overwriting each other.

A: You can adjust the cross-page seal position, full seal width, seal height, vertical position, edge offset, and top/bottom slice fine-tuning. It is recommended to test the parameters with a single file first, then process in batches after confirming the result.

A: Common causes include a corrupted PDF file, encryption or permission restrictions in the PDF, insufficient device memory due to a large file size, or an unreadable seal image. First check whether the file can be opened normally, then process files in batches.
