Software Usage Instructions

Import text content: You can paste text directly, or select plain text files such as TXT, CSV, LOG, or MD. When selecting files in bulk, the interface displays the first 20 files, but all files will be included during processing.
Set the reading method: Choose encodings such as UTF-8, GBK/GB18030, or Big5 according to the file; you can choose to display only the first file, merge and display all files, or not overwrite the text box.
Select sorting rules: Supports natural sort, alphabetical sort, numeric sort, length sort, random sort, reverse order, and clean only without sorting. Natural sort is recommended for content with numbering.
Set delimiters: The input delimiter can be line breaks, commas, semicolons, tabs, spaces, or custom symbols; the output delimiter can remain the same or be set separately.
Configure cleanup options: You can remove leading and trailing spaces, remove empty items, remove duplicates, be case-sensitive, keep the first item/header, compress consecutive whitespace, and add numbers.
Sort by column: When processing CSV, TSV, or delimited data, you can sort by a specified column and set the column delimiter and column number.
Process and export: Click “Process Current Text” to generate a preview result, which you can copy, download as TXT, or download as a ZIP of the current result; for batch files, click “Process Files and Download ZIP”, and the result file names will correspond to the original file names.

FAQ

A: Natural sort recognizes numerical values in text, so item2 will be placed before item10; alphabetical sort is closer to ordinary character order and is suitable for text without numbering.

A: Each file is processed separately using the same set of rules, and the results are packaged into a ZIP. Output file names use the original file names by default, and numbers are automatically appended to distinguish duplicate names.

A: When the text is not separated by line breaks, commas, or tabs, you can enter custom symbols such as a vertical bar or double colon to split specially formatted data.

A: After duplicate removal is enabled, the first occurrence is kept. If case sensitivity is disabled, ABC and abc will be treated as the same content.

A: First set the sorting basis to “Specified Column”, then choose the column delimiter and enter the column number. For example, to sort a CSV numerically by the third column, select comma as the delimiter and enter column number 3.
