Software Usage Instructions

Set authentication parameters: First select the hash algorithm, time source, timestamp format, authentication level, and certificate format. You can also enter a file description and certificate prefix.
Save common settings: Click the “Save Settings” button to save the current parameters as a common configuration for later batch processing.
Select files for authentication: Click the upload area to select files, or drag files onto the page. Files in any format are supported. When selecting in batches, the interface displays the first 20 files for review.
Use sample data: To preview the results first, click “Load Sample Data”. The tool will automatically add sample files such as contracts, compressed archives, and text drafts.
Generate authentication certificates: After entering the “Generate & Download” step, click “Start Generation”. The tool will calculate the hash digest for each file and generate a timestamp authentication certificate.
Download processing results: After processing is complete, you can download the JSON certificate, TXT certificate, or verification page individually, or click “Download All Results as ZIP” to save them in bulk.
Verify file consistency: In the “Quick Verification” area, select the original file, paste the hash value from the certificate, and choose the same algorithm to check whether the file content is consistent.

A: They are suitable for contract archiving, keeping records of creative drafts, electronic archive management, checking delivered materials, project file archiving, and similar scenarios. The certificate records the file hash and generation time, which can be used for later integrity checks.

A: SHA-256 is suitable for everyday file authentication; SHA-384 and SHA-512 are suitable for materials with higher security requirements; SHA3-256 and SHA3-512 are suitable for evidence preservation scenarios that require next-generation algorithms. During verification, you must use the same algorithm as the certificate.

A: A JSON certificate is suitable for system archiving and structured reading; a TXT certificate is suitable for manual viewing and pasted records; a verification page is suitable for saving together with the file, making it easy to open later to view authentication information and verification methods.

A: No. The tool only reads the file and calculates the hash digest on the current device. The generated certificate, verification page, and report are downloaded and saved by the user.

A: Select the original file again and calculate the digest using the same hash algorithm recorded in the certificate. If the new digest matches the hash value in the certificate, the file content is the same as when the certificate was generated; if it does not match, the file content has changed.

A: The generated results retain the original filename and append suffixes such as .timestamp and .verify. If duplicate filenames are encountered, the tool automatically adds a number to the filename to prevent results from overwriting each other.
