Software Instructions

Enter practice content: Enter Chinese characters, words, short sentences, or textbook excerpts in the text box, or select TXT or CSV text files for batch generation.
Select a worksheet layout:
- Tianzige grid: Suitable for practicing basic Chinese character structure.
- Mi grid: Adds diagonal guide lines to help observe stroke positions.
- Huigong grid: Uses a central area to help master the center of gravity of Chinese characters.
- Nine-square grid: Suitable for observing character proportions and spatial distribution.
- Square grid or no grid: Suitable for copying, dictation, and advanced writing practice.
Set the practice mode:
- Model characters + tracing + blank spaces: Keeps demonstration, tracing, and independent writing space at the same time.
- Tracing practice: Generates light-colored Chinese characters for easy tracing along the character shapes.
- Copying practice: Keeps model characters and blank grids for copying practice.
- Pinyin practice: Displays pinyin above Chinese characters, suitable for character recognition and pronunciation review.
- Stroke order hints: Displays stroke hints for common Chinese characters to assist with stroke order practice.
Adjust page settings: Set paper size, orientation, number of grids per row, grid size, font size, page margins, grid line color, text color, and header text.
Save common settings: Click “Save Settings” to keep the current configuration for direct use next time you create a similar worksheet; you can also click “Restore Defaults” to start the configuration again.
Generate preview: Click “Generate Worksheet” to view the page effect. During batch generation, the preview area shows part of the pages from the first set of content, while the downloaded result will include all files.
Download results:
- A single worksheet can be downloaded as a PNG archive or PDF file.
- Batch files will generate results based on the original file names. Files with duplicate names will automatically have numbers appended and will be packaged as a ZIP download.

FAQ

A: Tianzige grid is suitable for basic structure practice; Mi grid adds diagonal lines to help position slanting strokes such as left-falling and right-falling strokes; Huigong grid emphasizes the central area and is suitable for observing the center of gravity and main structure of Chinese characters.

A: The tracing grid displays light-colored Chinese characters, making it suitable for tracing along the character shapes; the blank practice grid shows only the grid lines, making it suitable for writing independently after looking at the sample character. The two can be used together to create a practice rhythm of “look first, then trace, then write.”

A: The generated results will preserve the original file names as much as possible. If multiple files have the same name, the system will append a number to the file name to prevent the results from overwriting each other.

A: The tool includes built-in pinyin and some stroke order prompts for commonly used Chinese characters. For rare characters, polyphonic characters, or characters not included in the database, the corresponding prompts may not be displayed, but they can still be used for character shape practice.

A: Yes. It is recommended to download the PDF format before printing and choose an A4, B5, or Letter layout according to your paper size. When printing, you can select a setting that fits the page size to keep the grid lines and text proportions stable.

A: Yes. Copy text passages, ancient poems, or words into the input box, and the tool will automatically extract the Chinese characters and lay them out. For longer content, it is recommended to generate it in sections for easier page layout and printing.
