Software Instructions
- Set the color source: After entering the tool, first choose screen color picking, image color picking, or batch image mode, and set HEX letter case, output precision, history count, and number of batch dominant colors as needed.
- Save common settings: Click “Save Settings” to record the current output parameters; when you need to restore the initial parameters, click “Restore Defaults”.
- Screen color picking: After selecting “Screen Color Picking”, click “Start System Color Picking”, then click the target location to obtain the color value. If the current device does not support this capability, you can use image color picking instead.
- Image color picking:
- Click “Choose Image” to load a local image, or click “Load Example” to try the process.
- After the image is displayed, move the mouse to the target area to view the magnifier and coordinates.
- After clicking the target pixel, the tool will generate the corresponding HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV, CMYK, LAB, and other formats.
- Batch image dominant color analysis:
- Click “Batch Images” to select multiple images. The interface only displays the first 20 files, but the remaining files will still be processed.
- After clicking “Start Batch Analysis”, the tool will extract dominant colors for each image and generate results.
- After processing is complete, click “Download ZIP” to get the JSON and CSS result files for each image.
- Copy and export results: In the “Copy & Export” step, you can copy a single color format, copy all results, or export JSON, CSS, SVG color swatches, and palette files.
- Manage color history: Each color pick is added to the history. Click a historical color swatch to apply that color again; when you no longer need to keep it, click “Clear History”.
