Software Usage Instructions

Select image files: Click the “Select image files” button to select images for processing in batches. The interface previews only the first 20 images; the rest are shown as a text notice.
Select background mode:
- Transparent background: Export the foreground image with a transparent channel (PNG/WebP recommended).
- Solid color background: Choose a color to composite the foreground onto the specified background color.
- Image background: Select a background image to automatically center and composite.
- Blurred background: Automatically generate a blurred background to highlight the subject.
Configure processing parameters:
- Execution acceleration: Auto (WebGPU preferred, fallback to WASM) / Force WebGPU / WASM only.
- Processing resolution: Original size or limit the long edge (2048/1536/1024/768) to improve speed.
- Output size: Keep original size, limit the long edge, or fit to a specified width and height (proportional).
- Output format and quality: PNG/WebP/JPEG, with adjustable compression quality.
- Naming rules and concurrency: Customize prefix/suffix, concurrency 1-4 (1 is recommended for weaker devices).
Start processing: Click “Start removing background,” and the tool will automatically process all images and display progress.
Preview and download: After completion, preview the first 20 results, then click “Download all results (ZIP)” to download all processed images as a package.

FAQ

A: No. All processing is completed on your local device. Images and results are not uploaded, ensuring privacy and security.

A: The AI model is loaded and the acceleration backend is initialized on the first run, so the time required depends on your network and hardware. Subsequent processing will be faster.

A: You can select “WASM only” under “Execution acceleration” to process images. It will be slightly slower, but stable and available.

A: Please choose PNG or WebP. JPEG does not support transparency channels and will automatically export with an opaque background.

A: We recommend reducing concurrency (set it to 1-2), lowering the “processing resolution,” importing in batches, and closing other memory-intensive applications.

A: Transparent is used for design compositing; solid color is suitable for a consistent e-commerce background; image background makes it easy to quickly change scenes; blur helps highlight the subject.

A: Increase the “processing resolution,” prioritize PNG/WebP, and try “background blur/same-color background” to reduce artifacts and jagged edges.

A: You can keep the original size, limit the long edge, or fit to a specified width and height; you can also set filename prefixes/suffixes for easier batch archiving.
