FAQ
A: It is recommended to use a front-facing, bareheaded photo with a clear subject, even lighting, and a relatively simple background. The clearer the contrast between the hair edges, shoulder outline, and original background, the more stable the recognition results usually are.
A: Requirements vary for different IDs and registration systems. White backgrounds are commonly used for ID cards, passports, exam registrations, etc.; blue backgrounds are commonly used for work permits, graduation certificates, and archive photos; red backgrounds are commonly used for some work permits, marriage certificates, or photos required by organizations. Always follow the specific application requirements before submitting.
A: If the edges look too harsh, increase edge smoothing and feathering; if the original background color remains around the subject’s edges, increase edge color removal; if hair edges are being erased, reduce the background tolerance and enable hair protection.
A: You can choose the corresponding preset based on your purpose. Common 1-inch size is 295×413px, 2-inch size is 413×579px, and passport size is commonly 390×567px. Different regions or systems may have separate requirements, so it is recommended to check the size, format, and file size before uploading.
A: DPI mainly affects print markers and print size conversion. A common print value is 300DPI. Photo clarity also depends on the original image resolution, compression quality, and crop size.
A: The original file name is kept by default, and the output extension changes according to the selected format. If multiple results have the same name, the system will append a number to the original file name, such as photo(2).jpg, to avoid overwriting.
A: Common causes include photos being too dark, complex backgrounds, similar colors between the person and the background, blurry hair edges, and images that are too small. You can try switching the recognition mode, adjusting background tolerance, edge smoothing, and feathering, then process again.
