GIF Speed Up/Slow Down Tool
Adjust GIF playback speed, supporting three ways to speed up or slow down animations: by percentage, frame delay, or frame rate.
Browser execution mode: Your data is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to the server.
Speed and Stability: Processing speed depends on your device and browser. For large batch work, the desktop version may be more stable.

Tool Usage
Return to old versionSupports single and batch GIF speed changes. Adjust animation speed by multiplier, frame delay, or target FPS. Only the first 20 batch files are shown, but all selected files will be processed.
Choose files
Click to choose or drag GIFs into the area. You can select multiple files; only the first 20 are shown for review.
Set speed
Multiplier mode is recommended first. Speeding up shortens each frame delay; slowing down lengthens it. If set too fast, some players may play at a lower speed.
Process & download
Click Start to preview before/after for one file; multiple files are saved as a ZIP, and duplicate names get numbers.

Software Instructions
- Select GIF files: Click the upload area to select animated GIFs. You can also select multiple files at once for batch processing. The file list will show the first 20 files, and any additional files will still be included during processing.
- Set the speed adjustment method:
- By speed percentage: 200% means 2x speed, and 50% means 0.5x speed. Suitable for standard speed-up or slow-down adjustments.
- Specify frame delay: Directly set the display time for each frame, in hundredths of a second. The larger the value, the slower the playback.
- Specify target FPS: Calculate frame delay based on the target frame rate. Suitable for scenarios that require a consistent animation rhythm.
- Select common presets: Click buttons such as 0.25x, 0.5x, 1x, 2x, 3x, and 4x to quickly apply common speeds.
- Configure output options: Choose whether to keep the first-frame delay, limit overly fast delays, keep the original file name, and set the batch ZIP file name.
- Start processing: After entering the “Process & Download” page, click “Start Processing”, and the tool will generate new GIF files using the current parameters.
- Preview and download: For a single file, you can compare the original GIF with the processed GIF; after multiple files are processed, click “Download All Results ZIP” to save the results.
