Software Usage Instructions

Select a processing mode: Click the tabs at the top to choose "Single Image Processing" or "Batch Processing" mode.
- Single Image Processing: Suitable for processing one image, with real-time previews of the original image and processed result
- Batch Processing: Suitable for processing multiple images at once, with a packaged download after processing is complete
Select image files: Click the file selector and choose the images you want to process. JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, and WEBP formats are supported. In batch mode, you can select multiple images at the same time.
Configure blur settings:
- Blur intensity: Choose light, medium, strong, deep blur, or a custom blur value
- Detection sensitivity: High sensitivity can detect more faces, while low sensitivity can reduce false detections
- Confidence threshold: A higher value is more accurate, but may miss some faces
- Minimum face size: Set the minimum detectable face size in pixels
- Output format: Choose PNG, JPEG, or WebP format
- Blur area expansion: Expand the blur range to cover a more complete facial area
Start processing: Click the "Detect and Blur Faces" or "Batch Process" button, and the system will automatically identify faces in the image and blur them.
Download results:
- Single image mode: Click "Download Processed Image" to save the result
- Batch mode: Click "Download All Results (ZIP)" to download a compressed package of all processed images

FAQ

A: Face detection is affected by many factors, including face angle, lighting conditions, and the degree of occlusion. You can try: 1) setting the detection sensitivity to "High Sensitivity"; 2) lowering the confidence threshold to "Lenient"; 3) reducing the minimum face size. Faces at non-frontal angles, such as side profiles, looking up, or looking down, may be more difficult to detect.

A: The blur intensity depends on your needs: Light Blur (15) is suitable for basic privacy protection, with facial contours still recognizable; Medium Blur (25) is the recommended standard setting and effectively protects privacy; Strong Blur (35) and Deep Blur (49) are suitable for scenarios where facial features need to be completely hidden. You can also customize any odd-numbered value.

A: This depends on the output format and quality settings you choose. Select PNG format to maintain lossless quality; when choosing JPEG or WebP, you can control the compression level by adjusting the output quality slider. We recommend setting the output quality above 90% for better image quality.

A: No. All image processing is completed locally on your device, and image files are not uploaded to any server, ensuring your privacy and data security. After processing is complete, the results are stored only in your device memory and are cleared when you close the page.

A: This is a false detection, which may be caused by certain patterns or shapes in the image that resemble faces. You can: 1) set the detection sensitivity to "Low Sensitivity"; 2) raise the confirmation threshold to "Strict"; 3) increase the minimum face size. These adjustments can reduce false detections, but they may also cause some real faces to be missed.

A: Common image formats such as JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF, and WEBP are supported. We recommend using images in JPG or PNG format, as these formats have good compatibility and stable processing results. For GIF format, only the first frame is processed.

A: Face detection requires a certain amount of computing resources. We recommend: 1) Process in batches, with no more than 50 images per batch; 2) Close other programs that are using memory; 3) Use a lower detection sensitivity to speed up processing; 4) High-resolution images will take longer to process, so please be patient.
