Software Instructions

Select image files: Click the image selection area to upload the images you want to process. Common formats such as JPG, PNG, WebP, and BMP are supported. You can also click a sample image to quickly view the effect.
Set the frosted glass effect: After entering the effect settings step, you can choose region modes such as full-image blur, clear center, blurred edges, top, bottom, left, right, and vignette transition.
Adjust texture parameters:
- Blur strength: Controls the softness of the image. The higher the value, the more hazy it becomes.
- Region range and edge feathering: Controls the blur coverage ratio and the transition of the clear area.
- Transparent overlay and overlay color: Used to simulate white frosted glass, dark glass, or light acrylic textures.
- Saturation, brightness, contrast: Adjusts the color appearance of the blurred area.
- Noise grain: Adds subtle grain to give the frosted glass a more textured feel.
Use quick presets: You can choose presets such as clear frosted glass, iOS frosted, acrylic texture, poster background, and dark glass, then fine-tune the parameters based on the image content.
Select output method: Supports keeping the original format, as well as PNG, JPEG, and WebP output. You can set output quality and maximum size.
Save settings: After clicking Save Settings, the current parameters will be retained, making it easy to continue using the same effect later.
Process and download: A single processed image can be downloaded directly; multiple processed images will be generated as a ZIP archive. During batch upload, only the first 20 previews are displayed, but all images will be included during processing.

FAQ

A: A frosted glass effect is usually made up of blur, semi-transparent color overlay, color adjustment, and subtle grain, making it visually closer to frosted glass or an acrylic panel than simple blur.

A: Choose the clear frosted glass or iOS frosted preset, use white as the overlay color, keep the transparent overlay at around 15% to 35%, and combine it with moderate blur strength and a small amount of grain.

A: The area range controls the blurred coverage area, while edge feathering controls how soft the transition is. When you need to highlight the subject, you can choose to keep the center clear and increase the feathering value so the transition between the clear and blurred areas looks natural.

A: The frosted glass effect needs to read and calculate image pixels, and large images use more memory and processing time. You can choose a long-side limit of 4096px, 3000px, or 2000px to improve processing speed.

A: The processed results will keep the original file names whenever possible. If the output format changes, the extension will be replaced with the corresponding one; if duplicate names occur, a number will be automatically added to the file name to distinguish them.

A: PNG is suitable for preserving sharp details and transparency; JPEG is suitable for photo images and has a smaller file size; WebP is suitable for web assets, balancing quality and compression efficiency. You can also choose to keep the original format.
