Software Usage Instructions

Select images: Click the upload area to choose images, or drag images into the tool. Common formats such as JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and BMP are supported. When selecting in batches, the interface displays the first 20 files, but processing will include all files.
Select a processing mode:
- Single-image refinement: Suitable for repeatedly picking colors, previewing, and fine-tuning one image.
- Batch with same settings: Suitable for applying the same set of color replacement rules to multiple images.
Set color rules: Click the original image to pick a color and fill the value into “Original Color” or “Target Color”. You can add multiple color pairs, or check “Replace with transparent” to create a transparent background.
Adjust parameters:
- Color similarity tolerance: Controls the matching range for similar colors. Use a lower value for solid-color areas, and increase it appropriately for gradients or shadow areas.
- Edge feathering: Softens the boundaries of the replaced area and reduces obvious color-block edges.
- Shadow detail intensity: Preserves the light and dark variations of the original image, making color changes to products, icons, or materials look more natural.
- Mask preview: View the areas matched by the current rules to help determine whether the tolerance is appropriate.
- Output format: PNG and WebP support transparency, while JPEG is suitable for images that do not need transparency.
Process and download: Click “Start Processing” to generate the result. A single image can be downloaded directly, while multiple images will be packaged as a ZIP; file names default to the original file names, and numbers are automatically appended when names are duplicated.
Save settings: Click “Save Settings” to keep the current color rules and parameters for continued use later.

FAQ

A: For solid-color backgrounds, start from 10% to 25%; for images with shadows, gradients, or compression artifacts, try 30% to 55%. It is recommended to enable mask preview first, observe the matched areas, and then adjust.

A: After uploading an image, click the color you want to remove and use it as the original color, then check “Replace with transparent”. Choose PNG or WebP as the output format, because JPEG does not support alpha transparency.

A: Yes. Click “Add Color Pair” to add multiple sets of rules, such as changing red to blue and yellow to transparent. The tool evaluates the rules based on the original image pixels to reduce interference between rules.

A: Common causes include anti-aliasing, shadows, or compression color differences around the image edges. You can increase the tolerance appropriately, enable edge feathering, and use the mask preview to confirm the selected area.

A: The original file names are kept by default. If the output format changes, the corresponding extension will be used; if duplicate names occur, a number will be appended to the file name to make them easy to distinguish.

A: When enabled, it preserves the original image’s light and dark areas, gradients, and highlight variations, making it suitable for images that need natural color changes, such as product photos, icons, clothing, and design assets.
