Set check parameters

Browser CORS policies affect reading status codes and response headers. Start with the compatible policy; switch to CORS precise mode when exact status codes are needed.

Important: A browser-only check cannot bypass the target site's cross-origin restrictions. If the result shows “Cross-origin restricted”, the request can be sent, but the browser does not allow reading the exact status code, response headers, or full redirect chain.

Software Usage Instructions

Enter URL list: Paste the URLs to check into the text box, one per line; you can also import a TXT or CSV file, and the system will automatically extract the URLs from the file.
Use sample data: Click “Fill in sample” to quickly generate test URLs and get familiar with the checking process.
Configure check settings:
- Check strategy: Compatible detection is used to determine connectivity; CORS precise is used to read the real status code when cross-origin access is allowed; mixed mode will try precise reading first.
- Request method: HEAD requests are lighter, while GET requests are suitable for some websites that do not support HEAD.
- Timeout: Set the response wait time for each URL.
- Concurrency: Control the number of URLs checked at the same time. Too high a number may cause network congestion.
- Default protocol: When http or https is not entered, it will be automatically completed according to this setting.
Save settings: Click “Save settings” to keep commonly used parameters and automatically restore them the next time you open the tool.
Start checking: Click “Start checking status codes”, and the tool will display the check progress, response time, status description, and final URL.
View and export: After the check is complete, you can view details, copy results, or download CSV, JSON, or ZIP files. When multiple files are imported, corresponding results will be generated in the ZIP according to the original file names; duplicate names will be automatically distinguished by adding numbers.

FAQ

A: This usually means the target site has not enabled readable cross-origin responses. The tool can send the request, but cannot read the real status code, response headers, or complete redirect information, so it is marked as “Cross-origin restricted”.

A: HEAD requests only retrieve response information and are lighter and faster; if some websites do not support HEAD or return abnormal results, you can switch to GET requests and check again.

Answer: It is recommended to focus on status codes such as 404, 410, 429, 500, 502, 503, and 504. For 301 and 302, check whether the redirect target is correct to avoid incorrect redirects or overly long redirect chains.

Answer: The results will record the source file. When downloading the ZIP, it will include a master table and also generate CSV and JSON results separately by imported file. If file names are duplicated, numbers will be automatically appended to the file names.

Answer: Timeouts may be caused by slow server responses, network fluctuations, access restrictions, or the target address being temporarily unavailable. You can increase the timeout appropriately, or reduce the concurrency and check again.

Answer: You can check whether important pages return 200, locate 404 dead links and 5xx errors, verify that 301 redirects point to the correct pages, and reduce unnecessary multi-level redirects.
