Software Usage Instructions

Set consumption mode: Choose download mode, upload mode, or mixed mode. Download mode is used to consume downstream traffic, upload mode sends random data to speed test nodes, and mixed mode alternates between uploads and downloads.
Configure target parameters:
- Target traffic: Enter the amount of traffic to consume. MB and GB units are supported.
- Speed limit: Set the overall speed control value. Enter 0 to apply no active speed limit.
- Concurrent connections: Set the number of requests to run simultaneously. The higher the connection count, the easier it is to approach the network limit.
- Block size: Set the data block size for each request. Smaller blocks allow finer control, while larger blocks provide smoother transmission.
- Speed test source: Choose automatic rotation or specify Cloudflare, HTTPBingo, or HTTPBin nodes.
Use the speed test feature: Click the “Speed Test” button to check the current download speed. The tool will recommend a speed limit parameter based on the test result.
Batch tasks: After enabling batch mode, you can set the number of tasks and the interval between tasks. The interface displays the status of the first 20 tasks, while the remaining tasks will continue to be processed.
Schedules: You can add tasks for a specified time, a fixed daily time, or repeated intervals. Scheduled tasks require the page to remain open and will use the currently saved parameters when executed.
Start processing: After entering the “Start Processing” step, click “Start Consuming Traffic.” While running, you can pause, resume, or stop the task.
View statistics: View consumed traffic, current speed, average speed, remaining time, active tasks, completed tasks, and the speed chart in real time.
Save and export: Click “Save Settings” to save commonly used parameters; in the “Record Export” step, you can view history, export CSV, or export run logs.

FAQ

A: Yes. The tool sends real network requests to public speed test nodes. Download mode counts the amount of data received, while upload mode counts the amount of random data sent, so it will use network bandwidth and traffic quota.

A: Download mode mainly consumes downstream traffic; upload mode sends random data to speed test nodes and mainly consumes upstream traffic; mixed mode alternates between uploads and downloads to observe bidirectional network usage.

A: The speed limit is the control target on the tool side. The actual speed is also affected by factors such as carrier routes, distance to the speed test node, network congestion, device performance, and concurrency limits. It is recommended to run a speed test first, then adjust appropriately based on the recommended value.

A: For a typical network, start with 2 to 4 concurrent connections and a 1MB chunk size. If the speed is low, gradually increase concurrency. Smaller chunks provide finer progress control; larger chunks make each request more continuous, but stopping and speed limit responses will be slightly slower.

A: Please make sure the page stays open, the device is not asleep, and no other task is currently running. Scheduled tasks use the saved parameters when triggered. If the previous task is still running, the new schedule will wait until the next check.

A: Public speed test nodes may be affected by regional networks, cross-origin policies, temporary speed limits, or node maintenance. You can switch to speed test sources such as Cloudflare, HTTPBingo, or HTTPBin, or reduce concurrency and try again.

A: The history is saved in the current device's local storage and can be exported as a CSV in "Export Records." After clearing site data or switching devices, previous records may no longer be displayed.
