Usage Instructions

Select recording source:Select the type of content to record - entire screen (record the entire desktop), application window (record a specific program), or tab (record web page content)
Configure recording settings:Set video quality (480p-1080p), frame rate (24-60fps), maximum recording duration (5-60 minutes), and countdown time
Select additional features:Optionally record webcam video and audio (system sound or microphone) at the same time, with support for multiple combinations
Start recording:Click the "Start Recording" button. The system will display a selection window where you can choose the specific screen, window, or tab to record
Recording controls:During recording, you can pause/resume, view the recording duration, or stop recording at any time
Save and download:After recording is complete, you can preview the video and download individual files or package and download all recordings in bulk

FAQ

Q: What content can be recorded?

You can record the entire desktop (including all applications, folders, and the taskbar), specific application windows (such as Office software, games, video players, etc.), and web page tabs. Any visible content on the desktop can be recorded.

Q: What is the quality of the recorded video?

Three resolution options are available: 480p, 720p, and 1080p, with frame rate settings of 24fps, 30fps, and 60fps. 720p 30fps is recommended for an ideal balance between quality and file size.

Q: Can system audio be recorded?

Yes. After selecting audio recording, the system will capture both the sound played by your computer (such as music, video audio, game sound, etc.) and microphone input. Echo cancellation and noise suppression are supported.

Q: Is there a limit on recording duration?

You can set a recording duration limit from 5 to 60 minutes. Recording will stop automatically once the set time is reached. You can also manually stop recording at any time, regardless of the duration limit.

Q: Can I record the camera at the same time?

Yes. Check the "Record camera at the same time" option to record camera footage while recording the screen, which is ideal for creating tutorial videos or product demos. The camera footage will be saved separately.

Q: What format are the recorded files in?

The recorded video files are in WebM format, a high-quality open video format with small file sizes and good quality, compatible with most video players and editing software.

Q: Why can't I start recording?

Please check the following: 1) Make sure you have selected a recording source type; 2) click "Allow" in the permission request popup; 3) select the content you want to record in the screen sharing picker; 4) make sure you are using a modern version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.

Q: Can I pause during recording?

Yes. During recording, click the "Pause" button to pause recording, and click "Resume" to resume recording. Nothing will be recorded while paused, and the paused time period will not be included in the final video.
