Software Instructions

Select video files: Click the “Select video files” area, or drag videos into the tool. Batch selection of common video formats such as MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, and AVI is supported.
Set flip and rotation:
- Flip horizontally: Create a left-right mirror effect, suitable for selfie video correction, dance mirror practice, and creating mirrored footage.
- Flip vertically: Flip the video image upside down, suitable for correcting inverted footage or creating special orientation effects.
- Rotation angle: Choose no rotation, 90 degrees clockwise, 180 degrees, or 90 degrees counterclockwise.
- Canvas fitting: Choose to automatically fit the size after rotation, keep the source width and height and crop, or use a custom width and height.
Configure output settings:
- Output format: Choose MP4, WebM, MOV, or keep the original extension.
- Video quality: Choose high quality, medium quality, or small file size.
- Frame rate setting: Keep the source frame rate, or specify 60fps, 30fps, 25fps, or 24fps.
- Audio processing: Automatically transcode for compatibility, try to keep the original audio, or remove audio.
- Save settings: Click “Save settings” to save frequently used parameters and automatically apply them the next time you open the tool.
Start processing: Go to the “Process & Download” page, confirm the number of files, orientation settings, and output format, then click “Start flip and rotation”.
Preview and download: After processing is complete, you can preview the first 6 results, download an individual video, or click “Download all results as ZIP” to get all processed files.

FAQ

A: Horizontal flip swaps the left and right sides of the image, commonly used for creating mirrored videos, correcting selfie videos, and dance practice; vertical flip swaps the top and bottom of the image, commonly used to correct upside-down videos or create special orientation effects.

A: When horizontal flip and vertical flip are both applied, the image is reversed left-to-right and top-to-bottom, producing a visual effect similar to a 180-degree rotation. If you only want to correct an upside-down video, you can also directly choose 180-degree rotation.

A: After a landscape video is rotated 90 degrees, it becomes portrait-oriented, so the width-height relationship changes. We recommend using “Automatically adapt to rotated size”; if you need a fixed size, choose a custom width and height and use padding to preserve the full image.

A: By default, the original video file name will be used; if the output format is changed, only the extension will be replaced. If duplicate file names occur, a number will be appended to the file name to help distinguish different results.

A: Flipping and rotating usually require re-encoding the video frames. The longer the video and the higher the resolution, the longer processing takes. You can choose “Small size” quality, reduce the frame rate, or process multiple large files in batches.

A: MP4 is suitable for most players and platforms; WebM is suitable for web assets and smaller file size needs; MOV is suitable for some editing workflows. If you’re not sure, MP4 is recommended.

A: Usually, selecting “Horizontal Flip” is enough to create a mirrored video, making the left and right directions more like practicing in front of a mirror. If the original video orientation is incorrect, you can also use 90-degree or 180-degree rotation to correct it.

A: Yes, it can be preserved. Audio processing supports “Auto Transcode for Compatibility,” “Try to Keep Original Audio,” and “Remove Audio.” If you encounter format compatibility issues, we recommend choosing auto transcode for compatibility.
