Software Usage Instructions
- Select an analysis mode: Use “Single Analysis” to process one media file, or “Batch Analysis” to select multiple files and folders. The batch file list displays the first 20 files, but all files are included in the analysis and export.
- Select media files: Click the file selection area, or drag audio and video files into the tool. In batch mode, you can select a folder or click “Select Multiple Files” to add files from different directories.
- Set the media scope: Select “Audio and Video,” “Video Only,” or “Audio Only.” For files from specialized devices, enter their extensions under “Additional Extensions,” such as
.264, .dat, .mod. - Select the field scope:
- Basic fields: Export commonly used parameters such as file name, format, duration, bitrate, codec, resolution, frame rate, sample rate, and channels.
- Standard fields: Add parameters such as video profile, pixel format, color information, channel layout, subtitles, tags, and encoder.
- Complete fields: Add tag JSON and full track details JSON to the standard fields.
- Set the report method: Batch mode can generate a single summary report or a separate report for each media file. Separate reports can preserve the relative directory structure of the selected folders.
- Configure report options: Select CSV, XLSX, JSON, JSONL, or HTML format, then enter a report name or file name suffix. To verify file contents, you can calculate MD5 or SHA-256 checksums.
- Start analysis: Click “Start Analysis.” The tool reads files in chunks and displays the progress and the numbers of successful and failed files. Click “Stop” to cancel the task.
- View and download: After processing is complete, click “View” to check the detailed parameters. In single mode, download the report directly. In batch mode, the summary report or all separate reports are compressed into a ZIP file for download. Numbers are appended to duplicate separate report names to distinguish them.
Frequently Asked Questions
