Software Usage Instructions

1. Select the date type: Choose “Gregorian date” or “Lunar date” based on the source of the birth date. When Lunar date is selected, the system will automatically support leap month selection for the corresponding year.
2. Enter the birth date:
   • Select the birth year, month, and day in order
   • Supports chart calculation for dates from 1900 to 2100
   • The system automatically adjusts the date range based on Gregorian months, lunar month lengths, and leap months
3. Select the birth time:
   • You can choose according to the traditional twelve two-hour periods, or switch to precise hour and minute input
   • If the birth time is unknown, you can select “Unknown time”; the system will retain the Year, Month, and Day Pillar results
   • Supports “early Zi hour” and “late Zi hour,” and allows you to set whether the Day Pillar is calculated as the next day after 23:00
4. Select gender: Choose “Male” or “Female”; gender affects whether the Luck Pillars run forward or backward and the direction of starting luck.
5. Start chart calculation: Click the “Start Chart Calculation” button. The system will divide the Year Pillar by the Beginning of Spring, divide the Month Pillar by solar terms, and automatically calculate the Four Pillars BaZi.
6. View results: The results include the Four Pillars’ Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches, Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches, Ten Gods, hidden stems, Five Elements, Na Yin, zodiac sign, void branches, Five Elements statistics, Luck Pillar chart, and annual reference.
7. Save results: You can click “Copy Results” to quickly copy the text, or click “Download TXT” to save the complete chart results.
