Tool Usage
Return to old versionFor boxes, rooms, aquariums, packaging, and solid geometry. Enter values to view volume, surface area, space diagonal, total edge length, face area breakdown, and estimated material weight.
Parameters
Set length, width, height, units, and precision first. With auto-calc on, any change updates the results.
Results
Shows volume, surface area, space diagonal, face area breakdown, and formula steps. If results are empty, go back to parameters and calculate.
Conversion Export
Convert the same volume to cubic millimeters, cubic centimeters, cubic meters, liters, and imperial volume units, and export CSV.

Instructions
Software Usage Instructions
- Set the rectangular prism dimensions: Enter the length, width, and height in “Parameter Settings”; all three values must be greater than 0.
- Select units and precision: Choose the input length unit, volume result unit, and number of decimal places; the volume result unit can be set to auto-match or specified as liters, cubic meters, cubic centimeters, etc.
- Select material weight estimation: To estimate weight, select a material preset or enter a custom density; the density unit is g/cm³.
- Start calculation: Click “Calculate Rectangular Prism Volume,” and the tool will generate results such as volume, surface area, space diagonal, total edge length, base area, and lateral surface area.
- View conversions and breakdowns: Go to the “Conversion Export” page to view conversion results in different volume units and the area breakdown of the three pairs of opposite faces.
- Save and export: You can save the current settings, copy the volume or full results, copy a share link with parameters, or download a CSV results file.
