Software Usage Instructions

Import Candlestick Data: You can choose to enter data manually, paste table data, upload a CSV/Excel file, or load sample data. It is recommended to arrange the data fields in the order of date, open, high, low, close, and volume.
Check Data Format: Click “Validate Data” to check whether dates and prices are complete. The tool will sort by date and automatically correct the high/low logic based on the open and close prices to reduce charting errors.
Set Chart Parameters:
- Chart Type: Supports candlestick charts, OHLC bar charts, close price line charts, and area charts.
- Chart Theme: Choose themes such as light, dark, and ink blue, and set the rise color, fall color, candlestick width, and wick thickness.
- Display Options: Enable volume, grid lines, crosshair, legend, and watermark.
Configure Technical Indicators: Enable indicators such as MA moving averages, BOLL Bollinger Bands, MACD, RSI, and KDJ, and manually set parameters such as periods, multiples, and fast/slow lines.
Generate and Preview the Chart: Click “Generate Candlestick Chart” to view the chart preview, up/down days ratio, average amplitude, average volume, annualized volatility, interval gain/loss, and other statistics.
Add Chart Annotations: After enabling annotations in the indicator parameters, you can draw trend lines, horizontal lines, text annotations, and rectangular areas on the chart.
Export Chart Files: Supports downloading in PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, HTML, and JSON formats. When multiple data files are uploaded, you can click “Batch Export ZIP”; the tool will generate results using the original file names, and duplicate file names will automatically have numbers added to distinguish them.
Save Common Settings: Click “Save Settings” to save the current chart style and indicator parameters, so you can continue using them the next time you open the tool.

FAQ

A: It is recommended to prepare six columns of data: date, open, high, low, close, and volume. Volume can be empty, but price fields must be complete; otherwise, that row may not be used to generate the chart.

A: CSV, XLSX, and XLS formats are supported. CSV files can be separated by commas, Tabs, semicolons, or vertical bars; Excel files will read data from the first worksheet.

A: Yes. After batch upload, the interface only displays the first 20 files for checking. During export, all valid files will be processed and packaged as a ZIP download. Result file names will be kept as close to the original file names as possible, and numbers will be automatically appended if duplicate names occur.

A: Main chart indicators support MA moving averages and BOLL Bollinger Bands; sub-chart indicators support MACD, RSI, and KDJ. Moving average periods, Bollinger Band period and multiplier, MACD fast and slow lines, and RSI and KDJ periods can all be manually adjusted.

A: Yes. You can set the rising and falling colors separately, switch between light, dark, and navy themes, and adjust candlestick width, wick thickness, font size, and watermark text.

A: PNG and JPG are suitable for web display and report illustrations; SVG is suitable for vector scenarios that require scaling; PDF is suitable for printing or archiving; HTML is suitable for single-page display; JSON is suitable for preserving the original chart data.

A: Common reasons include empty dates, missing price fields, unrecognized characters in numbers, or a file column order that does not meet the requirements. You can first click “Validate Data,” make corrections based on the rows highlighted in red, and then generate the chart.
