Software Usage Instructions
- Select BMP image files: Click the “Select BMP File” area and choose the BMP images you want to convert. You can also drag and drop files into the tool area. Batch selection of multiple BMP files is supported.
- Use a sample BMP: If you want to try the conversion process first, click “Load Sample BMP” and the tool will generate a sample image for testing.
- Set JPG quality: Adjust the JPG quality in the parameter settings. The higher the value, the more image detail is retained, and the larger the file size will be. For everyday use, choose a value between 80 and 95.
- Set image size:
- Keep original size: Output the JPG using the original image width and height.
- Scale by maximum width and height: Set maximum width and height limits. Images exceeding the limits will be scaled down proportionally.
- Specify width and height: Output all images at the specified size.
- Scale proportionally: Enlarge or reduce the image by percentage.
- Select color and background: You can choose RGB color or grayscale output. JPG does not support transparency; the background color will be used to fill transparent or blank areas.
- Set file naming: By default, the original file name is kept and the extension is changed to .jpg. If duplicate file names occur, the tool will automatically add numbers to distinguish them.
- Save settings: Click “Save Settings” to keep commonly used parameters such as quality, size, naming, and ZIP file name for future use.
- Start conversion and download: After entering the “Process Download” step, click “Start Conversion”. Individual results can be downloaded separately, and multiple results can be packaged and downloaded by clicking “Download All Results (ZIP)”.
