Tip: Empty folders cannot be read by the file picker.
Time filters
Time ranges include the boundaries. Choose a quick range first, then fine-tune the date and time as needed.
Time source
Because web file APIs usually do not provide the real creation time, choosing “Created time” uses the readable modified time for calculations.
Extension filter
Narrow the scope by extension, filename keyword, and folder depth.
ZIP output
Multiple matched files will be packaged for download; files with the same name will get a number appended.
Processing summary
After going to the next step, click Start filtering. The results area will show the first 20 matched files.

Instructions
Software Usage Instructions
- Select files: Click “Select multiple files” or “Select folder,” or drag and drop files into the selection area. When there are many files, only the first 20 are previewed, but all files will be scanned during processing.
- Load sample data: Click “Load sample data” to quickly try the full workflow. The sample includes different types of files such as documents, images, reports, videos, and compressed archives.
- Set time conditions: Choose modified time, created time reference value, or general time, then set the start time, end time, and filtering method. You can use quick ranges such as today, yesterday, last 7 days, last 30 days, this month, and this year.
- Set advanced filters: You can include or exclude files by extension, and also enter rules such as filename keywords to include, keywords to exclude, directory level, hidden files, and 0-byte files.
- Save settings: After configuring the filter conditions, you can click “Save settings” and restore commonly used rules next time via “Load settings.”
- Set output method: You can set the ZIP file name, whether to keep directory paths, the compression method, and whether to include a filter list CSV in the ZIP.
- Start filtering: After entering the “Process download” page, click “Next: Start filtering.” The tool will display the number of scanned files, matched files, matched file size, and a result preview.
- Download results: Click “Download filtered results ZIP” to package and download the files. File names keep their original names by default, and numbers will be appended automatically to distinguish duplicate names.
FAQ
A: Some environments can only read a file’s modified time and cannot read the actual creation time. In this case, selecting “creation time” will use the readable modified time as the reference value.
A: Yes. The interface only displays the first 20 files for preview, but the actual filtering and ZIP packaging will include all selected files.
A: The original file names will be preserved in the ZIP as much as possible. If duplicate file names appear, numbers will be appended after the file name, such as “Report(2).pdf” and “Report(3).pdf.”
A: Yes. In extension mode, select “Include only these extensions” or “Exclude these extensions,” and enter extensions such as jpg, pdf, docx, and zip. You can also use shortcut rules for images, documents, audio/video, and archives.
A: By default, the start time and end time are included. If “Include start and end time boundaries” is unchecked, files with the same time as the start or end time will not be included in the results. Time input is accurate to the minute, and seconds in file records are compared according to the rules.
A: Common reasons include a time range that is too narrow, an extension list that does not match, overly strict keyword filtering, subfolders not included, or hidden files or 0-byte files being excluded. You can loosen the conditions one by one and filter again.
A: No. File reading, filtering, compression, and packaging are all completed on the current device and will not be submitted to the server.
