Software Usage Instructions
- Enter list content: Paste the names or text to be sorted into the text box, with one item per line by default. You can also drag and drop or select TXT or CSV files, and multiple files can be selected at once.
- Set input rules: Choose an input delimiter based on the data format. Line breaks, commas, semicolons, spaces, tabs, and custom delimiters are supported. For CSV data, you can choose to sort by a specified column and keep the first row as a header.
- Choose a sorting method:
- Pinyin sorting: Sort Chinese names by pinyin from A-Z or Z-A, suitable for contact lists, student lists, and employee rosters.
- Stroke sorting: Sort by the number of strokes in the first character of the surname, suitable for official lists and traditional roster organization.
- Natural sorting: Recognizes numerical order in text, so “Group 2” will be placed before “Group 10”.
- Multi-level sorting: Set combined rules such as sorting by strokes first and then by pinyin, suitable for more refined list organization.
- Configure cleanup options: You can select options such as removing duplicates, removing empty items, removing numeric prefixes, removing punctuation, converting full-width characters to half-width, removing bracketed content, and merging consecutive whitespace.
- Set output format: Choose an output delimiter, display results grouped by pinyin initial or surname stroke count, or add numbering to the results.
- Start processing: After completing input and parameter settings, click “Start Processing and View Results”. The tool will generate the sorted results, item count, and processing time.
- Copy and download: After processing is complete, you can copy the current results or download a TXT or CSV file. When processing files in batches, you can download a ZIP archive containing all results.
