Software Instructions

Select Excel files: Click the file selection area and choose the XLSX, XLS, or CSV files you want to process. You can select multiple files at once. The interface only displays the first 20 file names, but all valid files will be included during processing.
Confirm worksheet range: All worksheets are processed by default. To limit the range, turn off “Process all worksheets” and then select the worksheets where content should be replaced.
Set replacement rules:
- Find: Enter the text, number, or regular expression to find.
- Replace with: Enter the replacement content; leave it blank to delete matched content.
- Multiple rules: Click “Add rule” to set multiple replacement rules. The system will execute them in order from top to bottom.
Configure matching options:
- Case sensitive: When checked, uppercase and lowercase English letters are strictly distinguished.
- Match whole word: Replaces only fully matched words to reduce incorrect replacements.
- Use regular expressions: Suitable for batch replacing patterned content such as phone numbers, IDs, and dates.
- Include formula cells: When checked, formula content can be processed; when unchecked, formula cells will be skipped.
Specify processing range: You can enter a column range, such as A,C,E-G; or a row range, such as 1-100,150. Leave blank to process all columns or all rows.
Preview replacement results: Click “Preview replacement” to view the replacement results and worksheet statistics for the first file. Process the files only after confirming that the rules are correct.
Process and download: Click “Process files” to generate the results. A single file can be downloaded directly; multiple files will be automatically packaged as a ZIP. Output file names are the same as the original file names by default, and numbers are automatically added to distinguish duplicate names.
Save settings: Frequently used replacement rules and matching options can be saved by clicking “Save settings” and reused the next time you open the tool.

FAQ

A: XLSX, XLS, and CSV formats are supported. XLSX is suitable for preserving multi-worksheet structures, while CSV is suitable for processing single-sheet text data.

A: Rules are executed in order from top to bottom on the page. It is recommended to process more specific content first, then general content, to prevent an earlier rule from affecting the matching results of a later rule.

A: For the column range, you can enter A,C,E-G, which means processing columns A, C, and E through G; for the row range, you can enter 1-100,150, which means processing rows 1 through 100 and row 150. Leave it blank to apply no range limit.

A: Regular expressions are suitable for replacing patterned content, such as IDs, dates, parts of phone numbers, fixed-format codes, and more. When enabled, the search content will be parsed using regex syntax, and the replacement content can use $1, $2 to reference groups.

A: No. The tool reads the original file and generates a new result file for download; the original file will not be overwritten. During batch processing, the result files will be packaged as a ZIP for download.
